3M Marine High Gloss Gelcoat Compound, 06025, 10 lb, White

I have been using this non- pourable paste as part of a 4 part restoration of heavily oxidized areas of a 42'Gelcoated Sportfish boat. Pro's are; 1. Quick cutting first step prior to light cut compound, cleaning and graphene finish sealant. 2. Slower drying than pourable materials, which aids speed of work and easy removal. 3. Less expensive than pourable materials. 4. Open top gallon can makes for easy one handed transfer of material to work surface or machine pad. Cons; 1. watch where you set bucket. I left it setting on gelcoat over the weekend and it left a stubborn rust ring. 2. I am working on dry land, but there seems to be a little petroleum in the product.

Works very well. A gallon will last me my entire life lol......

Works well just gums up the polishing pad easy

I used this product for my very oxidized bass boat and it worked great. I’ve used it before so I knew it was gonna do the job and that’s why I spent a little more money to get the gallon, 5 stars for sure

I know this product and it is a great product. The reason for the low review is because the receive can is damaged everywhere. Looks like somebody played soccer with it. I don’t know if was shipped like that or was during the shipment but I don’t like to receive an expensive product with this condition.

Used it on a dark blue hull. 21 year old boat and has to be done every year and this stuff brings it back to life every time. Easy to use.

NOTE: This does not come with MEKP (Methyl Ethoyl Keytone Peroxide) which is required for hardening and should be included! The product is fine, but the cost jumps dramatically if the MEKP is not included (which it usually is!).
