This does not have an expiration date: What is the shelf life on it?

I recently purchased 2 boxes of Maldon salt. Lot 30/04/2019 {Apr. 4, 2019} was the packing date. 31/12/2033 {Dec. 31, 2033} was the expiration date. I suspect the expiry date is added for legal reasons because salt does not ever expire . Also remember that the expiry date on other food is a best quality if used by date and NOT a throw away product date. This holds true for all dates on any food item with possible exceptions of some frozen items, baked goods and boxed mixes containing yeast or baking powder.

Can you use this in a grinder?

not sure why you would want to use this salt in a grinder. This is flaked salt - used mainly to top certain dishes to give the amazing briney flavor - I also use it on some deserts like salted carmel fudge. The salt for the grinder would be more of a rock form - Himalayan salt is great for grinders and better for you than iodized salt. When cooking, there are several different salts used for many different recipes. This Maldon sea salt is more of a champagne of salt and not an everyday table salt. Enjoy it :)

Does this salt contain iodine?

Maldon salt does not supply iodine.

Does it work in a salt grinder .?

Maldon does make a grinder for this salt, but I would discourage it, since the main reason to use sea salt flakes is for the flavor. Grinding it diminishes the flavor, but it depends on what it's used. If flake size doesn't matter, get the Maldon shaker and grinder.

Very good salt

This is an excellent salt for cooking and baking. It is super flaky and pure. I enjoy baking with it. Sprinkle it over brownies or cookies. If you like baking, you can buy this salt. It has a rich history and heritage. Recommended
