I’ve been directing my friends to buy this Chromebook 2-in-1 for the past few months, and I had one unit arrive with tons of issues. If that happens, make sure to just return the device, and order a new one from a different seller. That solved ALL of my problems. Contacting customer support for something like that was extremely cumbersome. So getting a new one purchased and the broken one returned is the best option for you to do! This device is not the fastest in the world, but it does do the job nicely! Just make sure you enable LaCros so you can still get chrome browser updates! (This device no longer gets OS updates, but enabling LaCros makes it so the chrome browser isn’t tied into ChromeOS like it used to - making it pretty much a standalone Linux Chrome install. It doesn’t do anything weird, but I 100% recommend looking up a tutorial on how to do it!!) Just like with anything on here, you’ll have hits and misses - but with that one issue, it doesn’t ruin my experience buying from refurbished listings like this - ESPECIALLY for the $68 price point for excellent condition one! This device DOES support the google play store. Just know when you first set up the device, if a ton of downloads are happening, you will want to wait until they complete before using the computer otherwise the device might seem “unusable”. It can be a bit slow to load at times, but for this price I cannot complain! I would not recommend any web-based gaming or play store games. This device is good for basic web browsing / office work / school. Just know you’ll need to use web apps from either Microsoft (OneDrive has a free version of Office available) or Google (Google docs / google drive). For those purposes, it’s amazing! This unit DOES support an external display. I would make sure you select “MIRROR” under display settings, because on newer TV’s / projectors it might cause the laptop to constantly stutter or freeze. (It’s showing its age with any extended screen larger than 1080p). You will need to get a USB C to HDMI dongle (I would recommend any of the dongles that also include USB ports & power). Overall. GET THIS LAPTOP! Especially if you want good battery life, and a price you cannot pass on! (I’ve seen reviews of people not receiving the touch screen version. I have NOT received a non-touch laptop in all the times I purchased it. If you do, return the laptop, and buy from another seller - because they will have the correct one in stock)

I was a little worried about getting another refurb after poor past experiences with Walmart, but this computer arrived in *perfect* shape. It looks brand new. However, it was shipped with the wrong charger and I was freaking out because it was a Christmas present. I have an old charger in shreds that still works, so was able to charge it up and it works and runs great! I contacted the seller via Amazon and they resolved the problem immediately and are sending the right charger. mistakes happen - bottom line, the computer is in great condition!

Worked fine for 6 months. Then the screen went black. I contacted Dell and it is $39 to ship it to them to diagnose the problem. Then they send you an additional estimate for the actual repairs. In the end, the repairs were more expensive than the original price of the laptop. Save yourself the hassle and just buy a better quality laptop, unless you only need it for 6 months.

Yep worth it. Screen looked a little weird at the bottom but you can tell at all when it's on. Its perfect for the price for sure

This is my first chromebook, and I didn't know if I would like one. Also I have not had the best experience with Dell's quality. But $64 dollars and the ability to return it didn't work out, I took the chance. I have had it for a few weeks now. Battery life if fine, I use it to check my email, read ebooks and magazines, also since this model runs Linux I can SSH into the Raspberry pi running the home NAS and do Linux stuff. There was a problem with the enter key, you had to press it in the very center. I replaced the keyboard for $20 and it feels like a new machine. Scuff marks on all four corners show that the previous owner was not gentile with it. So I am not concerned, about dropping it. The convenience of having a little computer that I can carry around and not worry about breaking it is really great.

Didn't need the latest and greatest technology so decided to take chance on the refurb Chromebook for my 3rd grader as a Christmas present. To be honest it was in really good shape but did have 2 small scratches on the top. You had to really look for them (perfect light and angle) and figured it would get more within a short time of use from 9 year old so didn't make a big deal of it although the Amazon description stated that it would "look" like new. The screen, keyboard and rest of the Chromebook were flawless. Came packaged very well and set up was a breeze. My daughter has been using it every day since Christmas for watching shows, playing games, communicating with friends/family and some school work. From operational standpoint I think it operates as brand new. Battery life is exactly as described. Overall I would certainly buy again.

When I opened the box I fully charged the Chromebook. When I got into it for the first time it ran extremely slow. I don’t have anything in it because I can’t work for it being extremely slow. I wasn’t aware of a few things with Chromebook like I can’t use cricut design space. That was the main reason for getting the laptop. Boy was this a bad purchase. This computer is horrible because it don’t run right. I just wasted so much money getting this and I can’t return it either. Garbage. Don’t buy
