These firelighter are genuinely brilliant - since I've started using them I've not failed to get a roaring fire going. And knowing they are eco-friendly is a big bonus.If you're struggling to get your fires going I can't recommend using them enough - it's like lighting a fire on Easy Mode

I've used these for so long now I have them on Subscribe and Save. Best thing is no horrible smell like traditional firelighters and they are dry. A bit of a waxy feel to them. More importantly they light quickly and create a strong flame for long enough for both kindling and logs to light.

Good to use, don't smell the room out or contaminate hands. Better value than traditional firelighters and better to use. Will buy again.

I usually buy the normal Flamers firelighters and thought I’d try these ‘value’ ones from the same brand. I understood from the description they were the same product, just shorter. Yes, they are shorter, which hasn’t impacted the effectiveness, but the quality is inconsistent in terms of sizes - see picture. Some are a quarter of the bulkiness of others and so burn out far faster because of their lack of size. Still a good product overall, and perhaps worth the saving of £5 a box compared to the standard Flamers if you have good, dry kindling which also ignites quickly.
