I find it to be great on a mirror desk, because it reps it clean. For that reason alone I chose to keep it. I also like that it lets me move my mouse around freely. It is rather thin, as when I set my desk riser on it, it put a hole in it. It is not exactly pretty, either. My room is rather elegant and this is just not the look I was going for. I wanted shiny and silver, it is more matted and dull.
