I've been dabbling in wood carving and wanted a nice set of chisels that wouldn't break the bank. I came across these and they do the trick. They are sharp, well made and come in a nice wooden box. The various sizes are great for any project and the fact that I can use a mallet on them is a bonus. They are comfortable to hold and fit nicely in my palm. I think they are a great value

A nice set, sharp edges, great storage, will last a long time. You don't need expensive to be good.

Nice set good material and variety for the price not bad at all .

Okay chisels however the decorative hoop at the butt end of the chisel is just window dressing and doesn’t do a thing. It’s like putting lipstick on a pig

Excellent chisels, are sharp enough out of box to use. I was surprised the quality was so good for the price. The finish and workmanship are very good. When sharpening I found the steel to be the right temper and hardness. They should last for years. I would recommend these chisels.

Super Sharp, Larger Than Expected!

Surprisingly good quality for a budget chisel set. The box is solid, the handles and the actual chisels remind me of the old Spanish chisels from the defunct Mifer company. These EZARC chisels take an edge quickly with a 1000 grit diamond metal stone and polish up to a nice mirror shine with a 3000 grit diamond metal stone - see the photo. I’ve used these chisels on some funky walnut burl and purpleheart - both hard and tough on chisels. They worked fine. They sailed through pine on a doorframe is was working on. I touched up the blades after use. Diamond stones like Atoma or Ultra Sharp are ideal for chisel sharpening because you can’t dig or gouge diamond stones - a 1000/3000 is perfect for chisels but they are pricey. You CAN easily gouge a ceramic water stone or a soft King water stone with a chisel blade. Then you have to flatten and lap the gouged water stone with a 300 grit stone. I discovered that data the hard way. For general shop or job site use on a budget, this is a solid set of chisels. Hope that helps!

I got this for my brother, He said it's going well he's enjoying making small things for home and family.

Received this product recently as I am building a cable wood working shop in my garage. I have not used the product extensively yet but I will give a few first impressions. Weight and feel out of the box is impressive . Weighty enough to feel quality but not to heavy. Handle comfortable and I really liked the length...gave good ability to grasp evenly no matter how u were holding it. They came sharp that's for sure. Took a few swlipes at some pine as well as some harder ash. Was easily able to shave off both. Also came in a decent box which will keep them safe and ready to use over the years. All in all a great add to any workshop

Perfect for any small to medium wood crafting projects. I like the long handle, it gives me better dexterity, more room for play, and a safe distance when I'm making small cuts. It is indeed very sharp. Didn't need to sharpen it yet. I almost cut myself, but only got a scratched on the top of my hand. I did put too much force and then slipped involuntarily. So be extra careful. Nonetheless, very nice kit. It also comes in a box to keep things clean and neat.

Good product , needed sharpening out of the box
