disappointed in a usually trustworthy brand
I was very disappointed with this drill bit. I ended up buying a cheaper set of 6 for the same money as this one that actually did do the job as expected.This one wore out very quickly and did not achieve what I wanted from it compared to the other cheaper set bought after this one failed.

Hot knife thru butter !!
I used this to cut out twenty holes in paving stones for patio lighting, honestly I was amazed how good it went through the stones. Just remember your arbor if you purchase one.

I needed to cut an access hole for a dryer vent and this hole saw did that. The cut was clean and perfect, and the teeth cut through the building stucco with ease. It is somewhat pricey, but you do get that for which you pay. Having purchased a wood-boring hole saw for a similar application in the past, I ruined the saw before completing the cut. So, you can either throw away $40 or pay more for the right tool, which you will be able to again use should the need arise in the future.

Starrrett is manufacturing in China now...too bad. The pictured item is not what was delivered. This new version sells for $30 elsewhere so cheaper, but in my opinion you get what you pay for.
