Easy to use and effective
I live by myself and sometimes have a hard time controlling when I use my phone. This does the trick. Just put whatever the problematic thing is in it and set the timer. It has a digital clock but otherwise reminds me of those small twist kitchen timers. Just set the time (minutes, hours and days) and then press the middle. It locks within 5 seconds so make sure it's fastened first.Let's talk about durability. In my opinion, this will survive as much because of the monetary cost as anything. The plastic seems moderately durable but won't be able to withstand, say, a hammer. If you're truly addicted to something to the point of acting out, or you're using it to keep someone else from having access to something, then I wouldn't depend on its fortitude. It reminds me of one of those hard plastic food containers. If your problem is some basic temptation, then this cuts that out. If not, then the question is whether or not you'd be willing to spend over $50 for momentary satisfaction by attempting to break this thing.

Great Product!
I am thrilled with this phone lock box. The box is big enough for any phone. The assembly is easy. The timer is easy to use. I like the countdown that appears on the lid. I was initially cautious about using it for my phone but didn't realize how much I could get done without it. I feel unencumbered without it. I like that I can charge my phone while it is in the lockbox, too. The timer can be customized for different time intervals.

locks up chocolate and chips :)
This works exactly as I hoped it would. I got the clear one so that I could see what was inside because I was afraid I would forget and I’m glad I made that choice. The mechanism is very easy: you just turn the dial a few times until your desired number of hours and minutes and then press it. It will countdown for five seconds and then two little plastic pins (or tabs), one at each side, come out into little holes locking it until your timer runs out. I keep snack items in it so that I will only eat them once a day.The first lid I got actually did not work but the company’s support was very quick in replacing - I sent an email and they answered within a few hours with the new lid arriving two days later. They even sent me the color I wanted (red) which hadn’t been available at the time I placed my order on Amazon. The replacement lid worked perfectly and I love the red. The blue was actually pretty nice too.One thing to note is that the instructions say that if the battery runs out you won’t be able to open the container until you replace the batteries. This makes sense because you don’t want it to be too easy to disable by just taking out the batteries. As far as I can tell what will happen when the batteries run out is that the timing will go into memory and when you put the batteries in the clock will start counting down from there. That is just my interpretation, however, because this has not happened to me yet. I would, however, recommend that you have batteries on hand for when this happens.Another thing to note is that the instructions say not to put it in the refrigerator or freezer. What they recommend is that if you want to lock up something like ice cream you get another lock box for your ice cream and put the key in this container. If you do that you might as well get the smallest cheapest one because presumably your keys won’t take up too much room. Initially I wasn’t thrilled with how much this thing costs, but on reflection I realize that if it were too cheap I might just break it to get what I want from inside :)The last thing of note has to do with what happens if you accidentally lock up something you need to get to like your credit card or phone. The instructions that come with this say that if that happens you should contact the company for further instructions about how to break the base without breaking the lid. Basically this is because the base is much cheaper than the lid and they can send you a replacement for less money. I do not plan on finding out the details of this unless I need to know them, but since I am only planning on locking up chocolate and potato chips it is probably not going to be an issue for me.

Exactly what I needed
Absolutely perfect for what I need it for. I put some keys in the safe and lock them up. Works great and would highly recommend! I rarely write Amazon reviews, but this product deserves it.

Helps with curbing distractions and promoting better habits
I like the size/depth of this product. I can stash multiple things in the box and lock it without issue. The best feature is there’s no override code, so I have to wait out the timer before I can get my stuff. The battery pack lid is kind of flimsy and tends to fall off, but this has no impact on the functionality of the lock box itself. So far it works and gets the job done.

Worth every penny
If u feel u need this, it's worth every penny. I saw some videos of cheaper models from other companies on Amazon and they were easily cheated and opened with a simple kitchen knife. This version seems sturdy with a simple and clever design (I like the dial wheel to set and add time). I feel like I couldn't cheat and open the device without destroying it.My only con is The screen is very basic like an lcd from 20 yrs ago. But probably best since this only runs on normal batteries. Wish it had a usb c plug to hardline like I've seen on other ones on Amazon. If u have a bad habit and need to lock it up, this is worth the higher price!

I'm gaining more control
It does exactly what it says. I was worried that even though I put my "temptation" in the Ksafe I would still crave it afterwards, and I would be jonesing/yearning for it until the Ksafe unlocked. IThankfully, I didn't yearn for the item. Sometimes, I have a bit of resistance to put it in the box, but as I have used it more I have found less psychological resistance to put it in the Ksfafe. In fact, I just put my item in the Ksafe and I felt good, almost like an endorphin? ? I'm starting to gain more control, and my focus is improving quite substantially.

Product was shipped very quickly, and was easy to assemble. Tested the product a few times with 1-2 minute times for the lock, worked perfectly ! Would buy again if I needed another.

Just what I needed
I have a bit of an issue with my weight and , because of this, I wouldn't keep any sweets in the house for fear that my self control would cave in.My diet app allows for some treats but I could not think of how to 'protect' myself from eating too many. Then I noticed this thing. Now I can have cookies , bread ,chocolate etc on hand and limit myself without feeling deprived.Between my weight loss app and this time lock safe I have managed to lose 60 lbs and still don't feel like I'm punishing myself.I just take out the amount of goodies that I want and then set the timer for the next day so that it locks thus preventing me from going overboard. So now I can literally 'have my cake and eat it too'!
