Useless
Absolutely useless item, broke within hours of having it, wall attachments didn't stay on the wall, total waste of money.

This stair gate is very simple and easy to put up , and does the job ie keeping our french bulldog going upstairs every 5 minutes.The only disappointment is that the plastic shutters that stop it opening have broken already.But the idea of this stair gate is very good .

Terrible
Terrible product. Not sturdy at all and the adhesions fell off within a couple of days. Tried other supermarket hooks that are suppose to be sturdy but the product is too heavy to hold onto the hooks. Would not recommend for baby or dogs.

Worked for our small dog
Ok so not that sturdy but if you have a small dog who would benefit from a Visial barrier it’s perfect and a lot cheaper than alternatives

Keep’s adventurous puppy where we want him
This item was purchased as a second attempt to keep a very active puppy where he belongs. The first attempt was a netting one which failed he worked out how to get underneath. This item is very good it can be shaped and used where and how you need it. It stands directly on the floor so no escaping and is easy to open and pass through when needed. I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a similar item to fit a space larger than the usual door frame. Money well spent.

Wouldn’t recommend
Flimsy fixings! One of the fixings for the gate broke after one day and all of the screw heads snapped as i screwed them in to a wooden door frame! The gate is also quite high so is impossible to reach over the gate to undo Bottom clip,.. after a week the gate is gone from my living room and not In use!! Money wasted!

Such a good idea but terrible quality!
This is a great idea and worked well for our two dogs BUT it's such terrible quality that the elastic tabs have had to be ripped and repaired continuously in the six weeks we've owned it and have now finally given up completely. As others have said, it isn't a strong physical barrier at all so if your dog is likely to actually try and push through it won't work in the slightest. Our dogs are 1. very old and 2. laid back so they didn't attempt to and it served its purpose.
