Is this procduct sensitive to weight? I want to decorate it to use as a cake stand base. It says it doesn't shatter but will weight on top break it?

I don’t think this product is weight sensitive. Although I haven’t used it as a cake stand, I do believe it could be used as one. Very sturdy. Hope this helps.

Can these hold boiling water? 212f? thanks! or would the acrylic enter the water at that point?

I would not put boiling water in it. It would very probably crack

Is there any branding on the bottom of the cylinder?

Yes there is but no color. Just a blind embossed. It says Royal Imports. Have to be in right light to read. It will not show at all when sitting in table.
