This is a very sturdy bench, solid, and easy to assemble. I needed something for my shower since I just had leg surgery. I feel very stable on it and it was a great price. I may keep it in the shower even if I don’t need it, it makes a nice little shelf for shampoos, or a cute plant stand. The mat is a bonus, too.

Absolutely love my new addition. This bench holds all of my 200+lbs. I don't understand why I hadn't invested in one before now. I'm a healthcare worker and it certainly helps alleviate the pressure on my sciatica, knees and feet after a long day. The mat is very stirdy and has black grips at the bottom. I was slipping and sliding in my shower before buying this. The assembly and instructions are straightforward. My daughters put it together for me. The price is very competitive for the two items and quality you receive. Highly recommend!!!

I love the look of this bamboo. I do not like the grippers though. They are cheap and feel that you can’t leave on the floor at all times because it could stain over time. I just flip over the tub after each use like other mats.

Very easy to assemble and sturdy. The legs can be adjusted slightly to make up for uneven floors and the mat is non slip. Great! Quick update...the mat as it turns out isn't so great. We have a large walk in shower and the mat is right at the entry of the shower. I've discovered that water will accumulate under the mat and mildew will form, it gets gross under there pretty quickly but you don't know until you move the mat for some reason. I threw it out since I had only wanted the bench anyway and it was too much bother to clean under it constantly. The bench is still great so if you're not interested in the mat it'll be fine.

this little set got a lot of negative reviews. i decided to try it anyhow -- it was the right height, color, and had a nice shelf. It has been a great little seat in our shower so far, granted it has been only a few weeks, but shows no signs of mold, mildew or shakiness. I really like it! Also, everyone said the mat it came with was awful to use and very slippery -- i found neither to be true. we have it placed right outside the shower (as a step-on mat) and it is not only NOT slippery even if wet (although I do avoid stepping on anything that gets wet), it stays in place and is, in fact, rather attractive. So my opinion,unlike th other reviews, is very good. I would buy again if needed

I just needed something in my shower to put my foot on to shave my legs. It is quite sturdy. I actually sit on it sometimes. Easy to assemble, good quality. I put the mat that came with it in our travel trailer. I am happy with my purchase. It is perfect for a small to medium size shower.

When assembling, there was a problem with one of the legs where the screw inserts, in that the screw hole on the leg was misaligned when manufactured. I tried multiple of the included screws and had the same issue. Finally, when attempting to screw in the screw into the leg insert, it stopped halfway and then the screw head became stripped. So I was not able to remove or insert the screw any further. The other three legs were able to be screwed in fine. An enclosed company card from the manufacturer Morvat (with a smiley face), said to contact [email protected] if "everything was not okay", and, "They'd love to have to take care of the issue right away". Really? I emailed the company 3 times as directed, and each time the emailed came back blocked. What?! Furthermore, because the screwed was stripped, I could not return the item as it could not be disassembled for shipping. I finally had to contact Amazon itself for a full refund. So, I'm totally disappointed in Morvat and this bench (which was supposed to be for my elderly mother to use in her bathroom.) DO NOT BUY!
