Must read for any level!
This is absolutely a must have for ANYONE using QBO. I have been a ProAdvisor since day one and still found the book helpful. The book was laid out perfectly from start to finish. Speaks to the reader in a plain language, not boring tech talk, not fancy ways of wording an explanation. Best of all the explanations were short and straight to the point. If you are just getting into QBO, by the end, you will feel like a pro, I would even say you could pass the ProAdvisor exam is you tried. Looking forward to the next version and don't forget Alicia also offers video versions of everything you see in the book.

There Has to Be a Better Resource!
This book was rushed into print. There are numerous references to forthcoming page numbers where information or subject matter are to be discussed in more detail and the page numbering is off by 2 or 3 pages. There are sections where words are missing in examples. The first chapter or two start off well and then when the material starts to get meaty (meaning important and substantial) the missing content, missing explanation of material and references start to drive you batty and confirm this edition was a "pure" rush job. The organization and labeling of which versions of QuickBooks Online the examples were drawn from would have been helpful. The quizzes I found incorrect answers and in a couple of cases the questions were on material in the next chapter--not the one you just read. The "screen shots" from online examples were fuzzy and the print too small to be useful. You'd need a magnifying glass to decipher what you were trying to read and understand from these "screen shots". There has to be a better "print" manual or tutorial for QuickBooks online somewhere--this book and its errors, poor visual material, and poor quality control editing is not it and leaves one with a strong lack of confidence and very frustrated when you are brand spanking new to QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.

This book has been a great help to me
I was forced to switch from QB software on my computer to QB Online because I upgraded my Mac to High Sierra. This book has been a great help to me. It's a much better tool than talking to QB Customer Service. The only complaint I have is there is no index, so when I have a particular question I have to search through the Table of Contents looking for a topic, which can be frustrating and takes longer than an alphabetized index would.
