Exactly what I needed for an older computer with no HDMI output for monitor

The media could not be loaded. Dont throw out those old monitors. You can use this device to add an extra TV anywhere and use the Bluetooth on the firestick or headphone mini plug to connect headphones or a speaker.

Not happy

The converter performed the task as advertised. I had it set up for 1 night. Went to set up my projector and media player the second day - found out the charging cable broke after 1 use. Not impressed. Have another cable that will work, but the included one was poorly manufactured. After connecting my other charging cable, the converter worked again without issue.

I bought this with intention of hooking up a modern computer to an old CRT monitor from 2003. For that purpose it's great. I'm using it right this very second to write this review. The picture quality is crystal clear, the physical connectors are solid built and do not wiggle or come loose unexpectedly. I haven't tried out the audio capabilities of this device as I do not need them, so I am unable to fairly review that aspect of this product. I am speaking purely of the picture quality.

My application was for use with a Raspberry Pi (mini HDMI male to HDMI male) and an old monitor (VGA male) I had available to pair with it. It meets my project's needs and the resolution is appropriate.

I need to use my old VGA monitor with Firestick TV, so I bought this HDMI to VGA converter.Installation was easy, plugged HDMI to Firestick and VGA port to monitor.Then hooked the Mini USB to USB power.Everything works right away, now I can watch all my favorite channels on my old monitor !
