- The external antenna provides superior performance for external mounting in aggressive and marine environments. The radomes are 4 mm GRP / polyester blend while the base is milled from hard anodized aluminum, giving an attractive green finish, making it resistant to corrosion.
- The bracket that comes with each antenna can be connected to vertical or horizontal beams, up to 60 mm in diameter, using the provided U-bolts. The connection to the Iridium phone is made with an appropriate coaxial cable through a TNC / N type on the bottom of the antenna.
