My attic light wouldn’t work & I needed something to help me see as I put away Christmas totes. It has a bright shine to it! I’ve also used it to walk the dog and under blankets to make shadow puppets. Hopefully, the light itself will prove to be durable in the long run. The only con is that the bright light cannot be dimmed. I accidentally put two in my cart and decided to keep them both.

A simple, purposeful light. Not annoyingly bright, but perfect, spreading illumination. Lightweight. Not a battery vampire. I’ve given several as gifts. Worth the price, and then some!

This lantern is super easy to use, stands on its own which is very convenient and is really bright. Look and work well. Seems well built and durable. It is versatile as you can easily hold it by the handle or hang it. Works with 4 AA batteries. I have not tested how long it lasts. We are ready for the next power outage!

It's fine, the lantern is bright enough, ergonomically pleasing, and oddly runs on either 2 or 4 batteries. But, speaking of batteries the listing says: Eveready LED Camping Lantern X-250, Bright Tent Lights, Rugged Water Resistant LED Lanterns, 100 Hour Run-time (Batteries Included), Red and Black. Understand there are NO batteries with this lantern and the packaging even states: *Batteries Not Included. It's a good lantern, though. Even if the listing isn't completely right.

These little lights are perfect for emergencies, just make sure you have some batteries stored with them. I like that you can put only 2 batteries in, or four, and there is a raised diagram in the battery compartment indicating how to put them in if you're only using 2. The light is not blinding, but diffused nicely through the white plastic. They are super lightweight and would be great to use in a backpack for camping. No need to have a charger, just keeps some batteries handy. They are sturdy and because of the shape won't topple over. I put them in a container that I store where I have to go during tornados, so I'll have light readily available. The button is easy to use to turn it on and off. I'm definitely going to buy more and put one in the car in case of emergency. Their compact size makes them easy to add to any bugout or emergency bag.

I decided to test this lantern to see how long it would last with only two standard AA Rayovac alkaline batteries in my 70 degree kitchen on the floor. Since it runs on either 2 or 4 batteries, I figured why not test it with only 2 because there is only about a 15% difference in brightness if 2 or 4 batteries are used. Amazingly, the lantern was still lit after 144 hours of sitting on the floor in the ON position the whole time. There is no brightness adjustment, only on/off, so the test was simple. To be specific, I stuck 2 new batteries in this thing on Friday 8/14/20 at 11pm. The following Thursday 8/20/20 at 11pm the lantern was still lit. Very dimly of course, but enough to still use as a night light. I kept looking at it each day and night and just could not believe that it only got slightly dimmer each day. The pics below are what the light looked like on Thursday 8/20/20 after being on constantly for 144 hours. I finally decided to end the test because any dimmer would not be practical use of the device. Needless to say, I ordered another one. Who needs all the bells and whistles, like dimming and strobe flashing? It's perfect as is, with a nice big on/off button in front and a perfectly-sized handle to slip your hand into. The base is about 4 inches by 5 inches so it's not going to tip over, while also not taking up much space. It's all-plastic construction, so with 2 batteries inserted, it only weighs 8oz / 230g. This lantern is quite bright with 2 fresh batteries inserted and lights up an entire room wall to wall. The 200 lumen rating seems accurate. It's perfect to carry around the house during a power outage. I do not plan to use it outside, such as for camping, so I cannot comment on that.

Small and light. Good brightness levels. Can operate with 2 or double A batteries. The one I received is all scuffed. It does not come with any plastic covering just a product topper zip tied in 3 places to the top of it which can be difficult to remove. It also came shipped in a paper bag, no box or protection. If you prefer a pristine item then maybe look elsewhere.

These things are pretty great for what they are. You can use them with either 2 or 4 batteries which is nice. Used them camping a few times and they are bright, but not overpowering so. Nice to have around camp when hanging out. I like the small size.

Ok.not that bright as I had Expected but price ok quality nice.

Light weight, ok light, it’s not like a light bulb bright, but still brightens up the space. Glad it can work with 2 batteries.
