Cheap n cheerful.
Bought this on the back of some reviews. Would have loved a dimarzio super distortion in single coil form but £90 too rich for me right now. So is it any good? It's alright. I have dimarzio and Seymour Duncan pups on other guitars and it's not a patch on them. So I dunno how bad your pups would be for this to be an upgrade but it's ok.

Very good for very little money!
I should probably give it five stars given that it's an alnico based pickup for under £20! Appears well made; fitted easily and sounds extremely good to my ears. I haven't gigged it yet but I will be over the next few weeks. It works very nicely alongside an IronGear P90 single coil; good balance and the tonality of the two together is great. So that's it; I can thoroughly recommend this pickup! 🙂

Great tone for incredible value
Excellent value for money. Definitely recommend if you are looking to upgrade the brigde pickup in a Tele-style for a humbucker bridge sound. Perfect for a DIY kit or cheaper guitar upgrade project where the stock single coil bridge pickup is weak on its own as is often the case. Don't expect a "full-fat Les Paul bridge pickup tone" but this pickup is definitely a worthy upgrade and still sounds great when paired with a neck single coil pickup found in most Tele-style guitars. Also features coil splitting which I'm not using but should help maintain those classic twangy Tele tones where required for a wider tonal range.

Superb happenstance!
I have an alternative Telecaster project currently midway through and to necessitate a cheap build (because it all started with a free Tele body and neck pickup and that was the theme for the rest of the project) I needed to 'rob' an Esquire project of its' pickup, a Bare Knuckle Piledriver which would match up nicely with the free pickup. Unfortunately, this left me with a hole in a my Esquire and minus a tailpiece as I had robbed that as well! The tailpiece was replaced with a Callahan ashtray that had been waiting for just such a moment and because it had to be made good straight away, I bought the cheapest and tastiest-looking number I could find on Amazon and came up with the above, for just over £15 and as a stop gap! I sourced a really good alternative wiring diagram for an Esquire with a humbucker (thank you Messrs Seymour & Duncan) and was majorly shocked with the results. Excellent clarity and a good tonal range backed up by a good choice of sounds from a humbucking, parallel and coil tapped three-way selector. I figure that most of the clarity is down to the tailpiece, which in itself is a class act but nonetheless this pickup for the money is stupidly priced and it has turned a perfectly good guitar into an awesome experience that I just can't put down! Going to buy another just for the hell of it!

Don't believe the 'boutique pickup' hype
Really good sounding pickup. There is a lot of rubbish talked about pickups. They are really simple things. Magnet type, wire guage, number of turns. As long as these are as stated, what more it there? Don't believe the hype. These are great
