I was excited to get my rooCase. It was everything I expected....roomy...I loved the various compartments! I also liked the feel and look of the portfolio and my Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 fit it perfectly! I wanted a fun color and was worried about how the shade of pink would like. I'm happy to say, it wasn't bad!

This case is amazing! Everything you could want. Versatility, functionality and a wallet to boot. The only downfall with this case are the zipper pulls. They get stuck in odd positions, so trying to zip up is a bit tough but doable. I recommend this rooCASE for anyone that wants high style with a purpose.

I would recommend this item but it would be much better if the inside was lined with something else besides felt.

The Echo is everything I hoped it would be. I finally have something that does what I say. A simple voice command brings me music, the news, weather, anything I want to know or hear about. It works off my cloud and draws from the content. It is amazing that this little device, a nine-inch tall cylinder, has the capability to communicate whatever I ask of it. Even more, it incorporates top quality speakers that really put out great sound. The more you add to your cloud, the smarter it gets and the more it has to communicate to you. At $200, I thought it was a fair price, but with a presale​ $100 discount for Prime members, it's more than a bargain; it's a steal. I highly recommend the new Amazon Echo, the next generation in communication. It's an efficient way to catch up on world news, weather, what's going on, and listen to your favorite tunes You'll have even more fun issuing orders that are followed. Since it responds only to your voice, it will ignore your family and everyone else. You are its sole master or mistress. If you are tired of people ignoring you, just invite them over and demonstrate Echo. They'll want to try talking to it, and alas, it will ignore them.

It's a great idea but it doesn't quite work. It is just a bit too small. If you take the pen/stylus out, you can zip it up without too much problem. Although I don't think the zipper will last long due to the stress on the zipper. But if you leave the pen/stylus in or try to use the pockets for anything, it is VERY difficult to zip and I'm sure the zipper will separate in no time. It's a shame, it really is a great idea. It needs to be 1/2" longer, 1/2" wider and 1/4" deeper.

I just received my case with my Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 and it does fit like a glove... I am happy to say that after looking at many other cases and reading many reviews the one that was most important to me that this case would really protect my Kindle in case it drops. Love the fact that the snaps fits in the back of my kindle and that is what keeps my kindle stay in place when viewing from all angles. The only negative thing is that the color was not as vibrated as the picture on here but with all the other positives I can adjust my eyes, however at least the color will not bring attentions to others while sitting on the train going home each day from work. If you are looking for a slim case than this is not it, because of the padding that protects my kindle you may want to look into something else, but the padding is well worth it because if you drop your kindle while it is inside your case it will be protected. Hope this helps, others and I loveeeeee the case....Oh yeah for the price its well worth it!!!

This is my third rooCASE for my third Kindle and I love it! It's well made and well designed. It does make my HDX 8.9 a bit heavier, but it also protects it very well. The case is brand new and it is a bit of a struggle to close and zip , but I assume that it will loosen up slightly after I have used it for a while.To address concerns I have read in the reviews; this particular model does not have the wake/sleep feature. If that's a deal breaker for you, get the basic rooCASE, which does have that feature. I have read that people have trouble getting their Kindle to stand up for reading, etc in the case. The zipper on the bottom flap actually acts as a stopper for the Kindle when you have it propped up in either portrait or landscape view. It took me a bit to figure it out, but it works perfectly.I have recommended rooCASES to all my friends for their readers, tablets etc. It is a very well made product. Keep it up rooCASE!!!

Works for my kindle

The case arrived promptly and is exactly as described in the detail field on Amazon and is just what I needed to protect my kindle fire. The fact that it has a protective cover as well as the case is an extra plus and I have used it since bought. The case is great for storing my library card along with other cards and documents so that I don't have to carry extra items with me.

Love the colour and kindle HDX 8.9 fitted well. Easy to switch on, off and recharge when in the cover and no problem as yet with taking photo's. The pens good as well.

Lovely, sturdy case, not at too heavy given the construction. I like the pull-out option so that I can use my Kindle close up as well. Really good value for money.
