Marvel Select: Thing Action Figure

As, stated this is the best Thing ever. He's massive, slighly chubby and wide, big fisted, big footed, just a real work. It has cracks that make him look like a weathered rock and incredible levels of details on able to be delivered under the Select line. The Thing is an incredible piece of art with good articulation for a big man, and goes really well next to the Hulk and Abomination. If I were to compare, he's not as big as the Hulk and Abomination but he feels heavier and much wider and fatter. No complaints really as I know what selects care about, highly detailed, some good to great articulation and a massive bang for the buck. The Thing overall is another winner, and is a five out of five. His head could have been a little bigger but it's not that big of a deal as it fits the freak of nature, creature like persona of the Thing.

Be Grimm in this form is a heavy, large, ready to last through anything figure. One of the heaviest quality I have ever seen. He is staying in the package for me so no review on the flexibility. But if you are purchasing him for long term play for someone I am sure this dude will outlive most anything else you can buy them. Excellent, excellent action figure.

I now own a large selection of marvel figures for display, and I reccomend the Thing for any fan. This figure is of great quality and looks super cool! It is not cheap in quality in any way. A dominating figure on my display shelf for sure! Don't be nervous, this is not a shoddy product! Joints are great and so is his coloring! I wish he did come with the little spaceship hovercraft thingy in his display, but that is my only complaint. I also buy on ebay, but I purchased this from amazon because it qualified for free shipping which is awesome!!! And I noticed from experince people selling on ebay tend to be skimpy on packaging to save a few pennies. Every item I've recieved from amazon has been wrapped very securely.

I'm really impressed with the detail and quality of the materials, and I would have been satisfied even if I had spent far more than what it is selling for now. It is easily worth $50 or more and it is a steal at $20. The best part about the Thing figure is that it is heavier than other Diamond Select Marvel figures. It feels like they filled it with cement. Nice touch Marvel, Thing should be heavier than the others, he's made of rock after all. Be sure to have a pair of wire cutters ready when opening the package. The figure is secured with lots of those metal twist ties that ruin birthday parties and Christmas.

I have four other Things figures, including the newer Marvel Legends and Fantastic Four Retro ones, this one stands taller than those by a good head, and is much wider. I like that it has the long trousers, versus the typical blue shorts most others have. Beware of the image, that circular base is not included. I did some research to see if it was a defect with mine, but it isn't, it is a marketing problem. There is no base included, but it doesn't really matter because, well, look at those massive feet! I recommended because is a beautiful Thing, but I am actually using the FF Retro figure to display alongside my Diamond Select Reed, Susan and Johnny, I just think it works better.

I ordered this Thing figure along with the Diamond select Incredible Hulk figure because they looked cool in the pictures. The first thing I noticed about the figure was the weight, this guy is heavy and the detail is fantastic. I consider them both well worth their money and a bargain at the price. These were not ordered for a child and won't be seeing any serious play time but I have no doubt that a kid would have a hard time tearing these up. Each figure is well made and any child, toy collector or just a fan of the characters would be pleased with the quality. I love them.

This is a dope Thing figure granted you can’t get the most poses out of it due to the figure being so big the articulation suffers as a result but aesthetically it is AMAZING 10/10 articulation 3/10

Du grand Marvel Sélect ! Comme toujours de très belles figurines avec bcp de détails. Pour ce personnage, il est très massif et très lourd. Mon fils de 7 ans est ravi.

Couldn't get over how solid it is and my Grandson plays with it all the time
