Does thing have separate inputs channels for front and rear speakers

Having trouble with my 4 channel head unit (Alpine) - I have separate front and rear L/R RCA outputs coming from the head - I plugged the front RCA outputs into the "main" which works ok, but no place to plug in the rear output RCA cables....

This can be used to take the 2 rca inputs from head unit and make them multiple rca outputs for a 5 channel amp?

Yes, I have 2 AMPs connected to it. I have a 4 channel 1000 watt Rocksford Fosgate AMP pushing the highs and mids to the 6x9s and door speakers. And I have a 8000 watt Power Accoustik AMP pushing the Bass. The 1st knob is independent bass that controls my Power Accoustik AMP. The 2nd Knob is the overall volume. So the answer is Yes. It controls my 4 channel AMP and my Mono AMP at the same time.

Would this make a huge difference with 4 6.5 mids and 2 tweeters

Depends - But I'd imagine that if you are capable of installing the HU then the EQ should be just as easy. Has the 3 typical: power. ground, remote and then the input and output(s) <-- or whatever way you plan on using the EQ. All else fails, go to YouTube and watch one of the many videos. I tried "how to install a car EQ" and it came back with "about 347,000 results" I bought this EQ and am extremely pleased with what I got for the price of this thing. Buy it. figure out to install it. It is worth it
