Fujifilm 14MP Digital Camera With 18x Optical Zoom, Black

I decided to go with a SLR camera after being annoyed by the long delay of a regular digital camera. There is a little bit of delay with this one but not nearly enough of one to bother me. This camera is so easy to use. I usually put it in different modes to take the same picture just so I can see the variations. The best thing is the panorama mode. You take 1 picture and then turn either right or left and in the view finder it shows you exactly where to stop to line up a perfect shot next to the one you just took. It really is a neat function. You can do this with 2 or 3 shots and set it up to go right or left. I'm always amazed at how much can be done in such a small package. I did buy a case for this to carry extra batteries and a battery charger but you can throw this in your purse, too. If, like me, you carry a big purse. It's not small like a camera phone but its not huge either. This is the best compact camera I have ever bought and the results are terrific!

Bought this for my trip to Machu Picchu, & I was blown away by the quality of pictures it took. I was a bit worried because the Mega Pixels aren't much higher than my phone, but the picture quality is far better on this camera. If you are looking for a good vacation camera at a decent price, this is definitely worth a look.

I've now had this camera for several months. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase. I have taken many excellent pictures. The battery life seems very good (I'm using rechargeable batteries). I love having the viewfinder option and using basic AA batteries (two of my main reasons for choosing this camera over others) The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the auto mode doesn't always produce the same quality of photos as the point-and-shoot I owned before this. With a little care and some adjustments, this camera has served me well. It has the option of changing many settings and I have taken some pretty nice pictures with a little care. But when I just grab it to quickly take a photo I've been slightly disappointed at times. But, that all said, I like it and am satisfied with my purchase.

The button got stuck on the first day and after that it wouldnt take any pictures. I tried for hours to make it work again but now luck. i was really looking forwarded to using it.

I'm not a photographer -- I've always used point-and-clicks. This camera has been a great next-step camera for me as I graduate from the point-and-clicks. The pictures are vivid and the camera is very easy to use. It travels well and I really like it. Like I said, I am not a photographer. I travel extensively and wanted something to capture great moments. This is a good intro camera to the SLR world.

I was very pleased when I got this camera. It was very light weight, fit the hand well, and took good pictures. However, after about 3 weeks when I would turn it on it would say "turn camera off and turn on again". I noticed the zoom lens would not move on it. Something seemed to be locked up. After reading about others with the same problem I had no choice but to return it...which I might add that Amazon made it VERY EASY to do. Apparently Fuji needs to work on this problem because otherwise it was a very nice camera for the price. I was disappointed!

Bought this after my S1000fd finally broke on me (banged it up one too many times) and was pretty disappointed with it. I bought it because even though I loved the S100fd, I wanted an upgrade (more MP and Optical zoom) but was very unimpressed the the noise of the higher ISO (like I read in other reviews) and the auto-focus was slow (when it worked) and the LCD screen to review the pictures was pretty grainy and even though looked fine when uploaded to my PC, still couldn't get the comparison of how much better the playback on the S100fd was. I did really like the panoramic feature, but honestly didn't have it long enough to 'play around' with a lot of other features. I returned it without much of a second thought.... just didn't impress me the way I thought it would despite the similar bad reviews.

I just got this camera today (super fast shipping from Amazon, btw) and it's already by far the best camera I've ever owned. It's incredibly user-friendly and I've already used it to take photos for my work's website - everyone was impressed! The panoramic setting works great and is super easy to use. Best. Camera. Ever.

J'ai acheté cet appareil quand mon ancien m'a lâché. J'ai pris mon temps pour choisir et celui-ci correspondait à mes critères : - un prix en-dessous de 150€ - un bon zoom (18x) - qui marche avec piles du commerce et pas une batterie (le système des piles est plus pratique sur une longue randonnée. Pas besoin de trouver une prise pour recharger, il suffit d'emmener des piles de rechange). En plus, pour avoir acheté récemment un nikon coolpix à ma fille, je me suis aperçue qu'on ne pouvait pas utiliser l'appareil quand la batterie est en charge (résultat : ma fille ne prend jamais de photo parce que chaque fois qu'elle veut en prendre la batterie est déchargée et qu'elle doit attendre qu'il soit rechargé pour prendre des photos... et après elle l'oublie). Les photos sont de belle qualité. On peut forcer le flash si on veut. Il a un viseur (comme les appareils argentiques) très pratique quand la pièce est trop sombre et que l'écran reste noir. Les boutons sont simples d'utilisation. J'ai été agréablement surprise lorsque j'ai testé la fonction "panoramique". J'étais habituée à prendre manuellement les 3 photos pour faire un panoramique et parfois le résultat était moyen. Là, c'est différent, le Finepix s'occupe de tout et il ne reste qu'à suivre ses instructions (il repère lui-même la jonction des photos et prend les photos tout seul quand on est "au bon endroit"). On est sûr de réussir ses panoramiques. Le seul point négatif qui me vient à l'esprit est la notice fournie qui n'est qu'une "prise en main rapide". Pour avoir la notice complète, il faut consulter le manuel sur CD et je ne trouve pas cela très pratique (d'ailleurs, je ne l'ai pas encore consulté).

Ho provato ieri per la prima volta questa macchina fotografica ed anche se ho fatto solo poche foto sono davvero soddisfatta: foto stupende e molto nitide e precise; ci sono tanti "effetti speciali" e tecniche (Rimozione occhi rossi, panorama per fare una foto più lunga a 180°, automatico, flash, macro, supermacro, zoom pazzesco → anche la luna viene troppo bene e non sfuocata, rilevamento sguardo....... ) che si possono utilizzare per migliorarne sempre più la qualità degli scatti; molta libertà nell'impostare le diverse impostazioni con possibilità di personalizzazione dappertutto. Facilità di utilizzo anche per un ragazzino che non ha mai preso in mano una macchina fotografica, semplice ma molto soddisfacente e dotata di ogni particolare. Istruzioni in inglese in cartaceo e in tutte le lingue su cd per poterle scaricare sul computer e poi eventualmente stampare tutto molto dettagliato e ben spiegato in ogni piccolezza. Non potevo davvero pensare a una cosa del genere non ci credo di aver tra le mani un prodotto del genere!!! Beh forse il migliore funzionamento avverrebbe con tanto di pile ricaricabili che si acquistano ovunque per poter sfogare al meglio e più lungamente la vostra creatività! Io ho messo una memoria di 4GB e si possono fare già più di mille foto! La consiglio a chiunque cerca una buonissima se non elevata qualità a un prezzo basso e molto conveniente. Davvero lascerà a bocca aperta! Davvero PERFETTA!

Soy un aficionado a la fotografía pero, ¡no un profesional! Las cámaras digitales que hoy imperan entre la gente son las mal llamadas "reflex", y digo mal llamadas porque esa especificación viene de las cámaras analógicas, ya que podían ver la imagen a fotografiar por el visor trasero... ¡a través del objetivo! Esto era posible a un espejo reflector interpuesto entre el objetivo y el cuerpo de cámara que hace reflejar la imagen en otro espejo, que a su vez lo transmite a nuestro ojo aa través del visor. Pues bien, hoy en día se puede decir que todas las cámaras digitales son "reflex", ya que vemos la imagen a fotografiar a través del objetivo en la pantalla digital. Es otro sistema de "reflexión", pero no deja de ser lo mismo. Por esta razón me gusta muchísimo esta cámara, pues posee un buen objetivo angular y un zoom potente, lo cual para un aficionado como yo tiene bastante. Los objetivos intercambiables de las mal llamadas cámaras "reflex" digitales, son una maravilla sobre todo para los profesionales y también para las personas con necesidades específicas, pero para los aficionados, con estas lentes de la Fujifilm y todas las configuraciones que lleva en sus ajustes, hay más que de sobra. Y, sobre todo, tiene algo la Fujifilm que no tienen otras cámaras de este tipo, el visor trasero. Este equipamiento es imprescindible sobre todo para las personas que como yo aprendimos a enfocar con las reflex analógicas. Con este visor se evita el no ver la imagen de la pantalla cuando estamos en un día muy soleado o con mucha luz. A través del visor se tiene más seguridad de lo que se está enfocando. Y este es mi resumen. De las demás especificaciones de la cámara os diré que son comunes al resto de las cámaras que existen en el mercado y, os confieso, no he llegado todavía a experimentar todas las aplicaciones que vienen integradas en la cámara. Por todo lo dicho mi opinión es UNA BUENA CÁMARA a un PRECIO ASEQUIBLE.

Nachdem mir mit einer anderen Kamera ein Mißgeschick passierte, habe ich mich für die Fuji Kamera entschieden. Zunächst hatte ich die Kamera versucht an meine Packstation zusenden zu lassen. Ich wurde aber überrascht, daß das Paket bis zur Packstation transportiert wurde, jedoch nicht abgeliefert. Nachfragen ergaben, daß das Paket wieder zurück ging. Mir wurde dann erläutert, daß sich im Paket zwei ganz normale Batterien befanden und deshalb nicht in einem Fach der Packstation verbracht werden darf. (angeblich wegen Explusionsgefahr? :-) ). Ich habe dann meine Wohnanschrift angegeben und kurz danach die Kamera auch erhalten. (bitte bei der Versandandresse beachten, wenn sich beim Artikel Batterien befinden). Die Kamera ist gut. Leicht zu handhaben und macht gute Bilder. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Die Kamera hat einen optischen Sucher. In verschiedenen Märkten in meiner Umgebung habe ich die Kamera gesehen und hier kostete sie bis zu 50.-Euro mehr. Für Anfänger in der Fotografie ist die Kamera zu empfehlen und ich würde sie immer wieder kaufen.
