Portasol is a great brand.
I have had the orange soldering iron for 20 years. Still works and does not leak. I am glad I can still find tips for it.

Works well
Different from me old design that came with soldering iron,which is 10yrs old and performing as new.-This new Tip is much better Design..and works fine.West-Australian buyer-got it quick and what i ordered...Would recomend..

Perfect Replacement
This is the exact replacement tip for the original Portasol soldering iron. I can't believe after all these years that this thing still works so finding this tip just keeps it going.

I bought my Portasol MK-1 back in the '80s. I was so happy to see they still made tips for it, I bought several. It works like new once again!

Nice clean tip just the right size for smaller jobs on PCBI like just screw down this Tip into the pen ,thank you

I would not purchase this again
After a week or two he tip started meeting and now useless. This is a waste of time and money.U pay a premium price and u expect a premium item but not with this one.
