Torrid Marvel by Her Universe Collection Loki Cosplay Halter Dress

I absolutely love the dress. It was way too big for me since I messed up the EU to US sizing chart and didn't notice that torrid was a vanity plus size measurements shop. So my usual ordinary size 12 I was expecting was a huge tent on me.Still I am glad that I bought this version of the dress (over the knee skirt), and not the usual size Hot Topic one (mini skirt version). After re-sizing my dress with the help of a proper seamstress this dress looks absolutely gorgeous on me.I actually prefer this Torrid plus size version to the "ordinary" Hot Topic mini skirt version, and wish that the "ordinary" version also had the over the knee skirt. I think Torrid had the better deal than Hot Topic with this dress look wise. So I am glad I messed up my sizing because this dress is worth all the hassle I had to go trough to get it.

Standard torrid fit. It's super cute on. I just wish they would build straps instead of halter tops in plus size dresses so I could wear a bra that doesn't cut off circulation to my lungs.

I purchased mine from Hot Topic, but their plus size range is the same product as the Torrid ones. I love this dress so much! The two qualms I have though are the halter straps which suck when you have big breasts, and the mesh-like tulle which is scratchy and a little stiff (I've replaced the tulle with soft lace so it won't ruin my tights; for less craft savvy people, you can cut it to the same length as the lining piece).
