They seem to be a good solution to the dangers of using a mandoline. I haven't had experience of slicing my hand, so I can't say if they're effective. I'm still careful, even wearing these gloves.

Not as described
Two misleading references to stainless steel in the make up of the material in particular note 3 which says stainless steel mesh. There is no metal in the material. Given the price I didn't expect to see anything other than a cheap glove but it was worth a look. They have been returned

Mein Mann ist Koch von Beruf und trägt sie in der Küche. Seitdem sind die Hände und Finger heil geblieben. Krümel lassen sich etwas mühselig entfernen, aber so ist das Handling sehr gut.
