For those saying these are “dull,” this type of thin metal die isn’t supposed to be sharp and doesn’t even have blades. They cut with pressure. Sometimes you have to add shims (paper or cardstock) over the entire surface of the die or just spot shim in areas that don’t want to cut cleanly, but that’s the same with any dies and depends on the machine. And it helps to move dies all over the cutting plates, not just plunk them in the middle.These dies make beautiful wildflower die cuts for cards or mixed media. I often cut them from inked, watercolored or painted backgrounds that I didn’t like enough to use as is for cards, but as die cuts can look stunning. Using just one or a bunch, or cutting some shorter - like I did to decorate a small box - all works. I use heavy watercolor paper and cardstock.

I have the earlier wildflower set and have used them often. They are very very versatile and can be any color in your paper collection. This set complements the older ones and is also usable in many ways. Or, you may want to cut them out all in white and use watercolors on them.

These wildflower die cuts are adorable! Sizzix is such a good product that quality has never been an issue for me. The wildflowers work well together and with Sizzix’ other wildflower die cuts. These flowers are a pretty good size. I made a Mother’s Day card 6 x 6 and fit five flowers across, tilted and layered. I did not have enough room to use leaves, which I would have liked to add.

I purchased this die because of the variety of plants represented and the fact that it was a Tim Holtz product. I haven't actually had the time to use it yet but know it will be a wonderful addition to my card-making.

I love these dies. They cut out beautifully and can be used on so many projects.

There is nothing I don’t like about these dies, their versatility is wonderful and can be added to cards or mixed media. I printed one of my multi coloured patterns on copier paper, the die cut was very sharp. The black background shows them off beautifully. Because they are like a silhouette you can use them on all sorts of backgrounds. I have two of these sets now. Lovely to us, thank you.
