101 Mixed Media Techniques: Master the fundamental concepts of mixed media art

I like this book for the variety of ideas, the way in which they are categorised and the simple but clear instructions. The book is also well illustrated. As a beginner in mixed media, I have found this a very useful go-to for information. I highly recommend this book.

I like this mixed media book. The photographs are beautiful and all colorful... and instructions are short and to the point which makes them easier for me to choose from and follow. I learned some mixed media techniques I wasn't aware of before. I was surprised at the hard cover and spiral binding. It is a really nice book, and a good reference tool. I'm glad I bought it.

I love all the ideas in this book, but it's not for complete beginners as it doesn't provide as much description as it would if it were for beginners. Since I was mostly aware of the supplies used, it worked out okay, but the things that I wasn't aware of, I had to go research online. But at least I had this book to provide beautiful example photos and to inform me of the techniques and supplies so I could look online for them. For the price, it was good.

This book has great photos, examples and instructions on just about every technique used in Mixed Media art. If only I'd had this 3 years ago, I would have saved a ton of money on art classes and courses! Highly recommend.

The book is wonderful. It gives illustrated step by step instructions on how to do a lot of these techniques. There was a lot of techniques covered that I had never seen before. It's definitely worth the money. I bought another that had a high rating, but it did not give step-by-step instructions clearly. It showed the finished product and gave a page of information, I don't know, this was just so much simpler.

The book is interesting and several mixed media techniques are introduced, but I wanted more step-by-step instruction which this book does not give. Good book, just not what I was looking for.

I own tons of books on mixed media art journaling etc. This one beats them all for the shear volume of ideas. Most books give you recipes on how to reproduce specific art works, This book give short ideas with just enough instruction to let you experiment. Clearly explained instructions, just enough pictures. No long monologues on the artists inner thought process or references to to personal successes philosophy or favorite recipes.

es sind wie in jedem Buch natürlich auch altbekannte Sachen drin, aber auch Techniken oder Verwendung von Materialien, die einen in ihrer Einfachkeit mit anschließenden tollen Effekt verblüffen. Ich finde es sehr verständlich dank der zahlreichen Bilder ( z.T Schritt für Schritt ) und damit sollte es für die meisten gut verständlich sein.

英語ですが、画像が多く、わかりやすくまとまっています。 日本でも手に入るものが多いので、すぐにできそう。 日本のクラフト界でも、もっとミクストメディアが盛んになると良いなと考えているので、こういう本が増えると良いですね。 価格がもっと安いと良いですが。
