Makita 195559-1 Dust Extracting Attachment, Routers

The product was as described, highly recommend.

This shroud should have been included with the router. Having to spend extra to buy it separately lost it two stars in the value category. It also lost a star in the ease of use category / accuracy category due to not capturing the dust quite as well as I’d hoped. Still, the overall result is orders of magnitude better than without, and I will continue to use it anytime I need to use my Makita palm router.

Helps a lot with the dust flying out, but the majority still seems to go to the ground, maybe just a bit size issue stopping airflow…Mine rattles a little during use, but it’s less than the base noise of the router.Overall a better experience using the router with this attached.

If you’re using this for the handheld makita 18v router. You can trust the fit and use of this attachment. It works perfectly. Way less mess when routing.

Cheap thin plastic especially for the money. Works well for dust collection though

Tremendously helps to reduce mess from routing fin boxes and leash plugs while building a surfboard.

Works great for my little makita palm router. Can see my work well. I even glued some mini Xmas lights inside the shroud and that combined with this dust chute makes doing hand routing so much easier! Well worth it!
