Great thermometer. Very accurate. Was tested extensively. My daughter had a pnemonia recently and this was the only thermometer we could tell on and used all the time. It's accurate both under arm and in the mouth. It's fast. It's convenient as it shows the previously measured temperature.

I bought 4 digital thermometers before this that didn't work (read in low 90's F). Though they were different brands, I belive the internals were likely made by the same company, which seems to have a quality control issue. This one is different from those -- uses a different battery, for example. And it works properly.The backlight is a nice feature. I cannot hear the beep on any of the ones I got recently. It is apparently a frequency too high for older ears. I do have an old one that I can hear, so that could be fixed. For some reason nobody does. With the light it is not a problem.

I needed a new one and this worked well. Its accurate and every house should have one!

Great low cost thermometer. Easy to read and use.

Little pretty thermometer. Very easy to use. I tested myself and the reading is pretty normal. It is much faster than traditional Thermometer. It only takes 5 seconds to get the result other than 10 minutes. Love it!

This was 2-3 degrees HIGHER than the actual temp (tested with 3 different thermometers in comparison).I work as a veterinary nurse, dangerously high temps can lead to a mis diagnosis. Wish I could give 0 stars.

I have had the first one for just over 2 months now; it behaves very well so I bought a second one lately. The quality of the construction is surprisingly good: smooth blending between the main body and the flexible tip, secure cover sealing the battery compartment. The colored backlight is handy overnight, and having readings in both Fahrenheit and Celsius saves a lot of time in debating between household members whether it's an actual fever or not :-) Have only used under arm and the readings are relatively quick (about 10 seconds), repeatable, and look accurate - I did not get into full calibration madness, I can only tell that both units that I have consistently give readings close to each other and to the older thermometer.

Temperature was very inaccurate. I compared it to the one at the doctor's office. At first it was off by .5. I took temp again one minute later and it went up by .4. It was off by almost an entire point!
