###EDIT: Just to add to my review a few months further down the line and this battery has been in daily use on all my Makita gear. It's had some serious hammer, including being dropped from gutter height of a 2 story building whilst still attached to my circular saw. Neither suffered any damage despite bouncing off a brick wall. Still charges and performs like new. I have stripped this battery alongside a genuine Makita 5ah and the internal build quality is exactly the same. It's a shame this particular one isn't available at the moment, any idea when it might be? ### I've waited a while before reviewing this battery and i only bought it because other reviews said it performed well so i feel i should add to them. It's the first time i've strayed from genuine tool batteries and i've been in the trade a long time. I won't but genuine Makita batteries again. The name is the only thing separating them from this one and it does not justify paying twice the price. This performs just as well in charging and use on both low and high demand tools. In fact i would say it runs my circ saw longer with heavy use. These clearly are fitted with high quality cells, probably the same as the genuine ones.

I bought these batteries for a Makita lawnmower without realising they were not genuine Makita. Dont let that put you off, both batteries were fully charged out of the box within 30 minutes and after another 30 minutes work on the mower both batteries were still displaying 3 bars on the charge indicator. Time will tell if they will last as long as genuine items but at first glance they seem to be great value for money.

Good battery seems to walk the walk see how long it lasts will buy again for sure why pay more for a sticker

I've just got the battery and its 10/10 too of the range very powerful and does what a makita battery should do, has all the safety feature lights and looks and works like a very expensive battery but at £30+ it's a super bargain.Very short charge time 20 to 30 mins and works as strong as a petrol engine for about hour or so.Only just got it so dont know about how long this battery will last in future but it looks like it is well built and has the tech of a makita battery and very very powerful10/10

Had this battery for 2 weeks slight drizzle and (not pissing down) has now stopped charging so literally money down the pan will not buy again will buy genuine get what u pay for tbh!

The battery isn't as good as stated, runs out quicker than a 3amp, very disappointing

Excellent product use it every day in work and its lasts for 3 to 4 days before charging it, excellent value for money, great customer service.
