I have a female German Shepherd who weighs about 70 lbs. She loves to go on walks but she's very aggressive towards other dogs. I bought other harnesses off of Amazon that she slipped right out of on the first try but not this one!This harness is heavy duty and after adjusting it a few times it fits perfect and I don't have to worry about her escaping!The only negative about it is I wish they sold a leash to go with it because you need a leash that has a clasp large enough to hold the two metal clasps on the harness. I had a hard time finding one that would open large enough.

I have to say that I've given this product only four stars because it is not easy enough to tell which way is up vs down. I also had some trouble using my normal sized leash clasp. The metal rings are very thick and I usually only put the leash on one ring, which does not feel as safe. Now, I do love this harness. I have used others and they were not as durable or as comfy for my dog. The material is amazing. It is not a perfect product but I highly recommend it over any other harness I have used. I have a Golden who is 75lbs and a Large fits her perfectly.

I chose this harness because of the additional adjustable middle strap. I have a Shiba Inu so neck proportions are a bit different then some dogs so I needed that extra step of adjustability. The only thing bad about this harness is that it doesn’t work that well unless the dog is pulling forward, when my dog lags behind and I need to urge him to keep moving, the motion of pulling from the front causes it to be positioned wrong

Absolutely perfect fit and durable. My female pitbull is a sweetheart, but she's 40lbs of steel and has broken every leash, collar, basically anything she touches. This has no plastic in the path of securing her and is the only thing that has kept her in place. Very nice quality, she doesn't mind wearing it and it works very well. Happy.

Purchased blue, orange, & red in medium. We recently rescued a 9 year old minpin, who had originally come from a breeder. He's huge for a minpin (27 lbs), and strong as an ox. A harness is a must, and strong and inescapable are necessities. This harness is awesome. It's thick & heavy duty without bulk, & soft & comfy for Coopy. Having only one clasp, & being located between the leash rings makes it very secure. It's more adjustable than most, and easy to put on. The colors are vibrant, & it's easy to wash in any sink. I definitely recommend these, & make sure you check for "used/like new". Mine were $8, $9, & $10.

Purchased 2 harnesses about 1 month ago: sizes L in orange and XL in blue. L for my 66 lbs flat coated lab mix and XL 117 lbs rottweiler. My lab hates to wear harnesses and has torn 9 other brand harnesses. She loves to chase anything that moves. My rottie moves when he feels like it, usually to say hello to anyone that passes by. At 1st I was concerned about soft fabric, but its wide enough to hold in place with some adjustment to move clip back to top of shoulders when they move around too much.

The LIFTING strap is to narrow. My 85 pound dog whimpered in pain from the narrow strap collapsing his lungs.Padding does not distribute the load. Widen it!They used a plastic buckle to hold it together.Dangerous! If you buckle it at an angle, it will lock and you can’t undo it. Your stuck and it won’t hold the weight if it’s not straight. In an emergency, or at night, you can’t line it upand then it JAMS and won’t let go. Dumb.Why is this critical piece plastic, the rest is metal.I like the look but in an emergency it’s painful and could be dangerous. Very very disappointing.Thx

For some reason this will not stay up on my big dog. I'm very familiar with these types of harnesses and adjusting them etc. Not sure what it is about this harness that it has issues on my dog but, it does. You might have better luck. Otherwise, it seems to be of decent quality and construction.

I have 2 huskies, one doesn't pull when we started using this harness and the other one pulls no matter what harness we use. So this is good quality harness but I don't think it will stop your dog pulling, but at least it's easy for you to hold the dog back if your dog pulls. and also because we don't really make it tight so they can get out from the head part, my not pulling husky escaped from this harness few times when we pulled hard towards different directions. But we still love this harness, the other different brand harnesses we have they also can escape when we pull different directions.

I just bought a Goldendoodle and hes currently 30lbs. I bought a medium and it fits him very well, with lots of room for growing. I use it in the back seat while driving. I clip a teather to it and he can travel safely. He still gets car sick, so I place towels down and it is working good so far. I would reccomend buying this product

Unusable for me. It won’t stay in place, and even when fitted very snuggly it slips and slides around the body with even the smallest movement. We went on a very slow paced stroll around the block and the harness couldn’t stay in place for 30 seconds. The thickness and sturdiness of the fabric and clips is great, but the way it moves makes it uncomfortable for the dog, and far easier for them to slip out.

I have gone through 4 harnesses with my 9 month old pup. This one seems like it will last. It is very easy to put on, and my dog can't slip it like he was able to with the others. With the other harnesses, my dog would pull and would choke himself because it went too far up the neck, this one rests pretty low on the clavicle, so no issues with choking. For a basic harness, it is pretty heavy, but I think that says more about the sturdiness of it.

I would buy this over the overpriced well known brands at pet shops any day. It does the job no less than those. M at the smallest adjustments fit my 8 month old female shiba inu, she’s around 24 pounds
