While I know some people prefer the really juicy dry-erase lines you get with storing markers upside down, I find this tapers off quickly and actually decreases the overall marker lifespan. (my unscientific observation)I prefer to store markers horizontally for consistently great flow throughout the markers life.This storage system let me do this all in a slim footprint; I mounted this to the side of an Ikea Gnedby.It's very sturdy, very much made of metal, and the powder-coated finish should last a lifetime.One concern would be that the upturned corners of the marker ledges are pretty square. I'm not concerned for my usage, but this might make it unsuitable for small children if this is mounted low enough for them to fall into. Again, the corners are not sharp enough to worry me for daily use, but they could have been rounded a bit more without any negative impact.One other thing to consider is that, being metal, magnetic erasers will cling to the backing wall of this rather than sitting on the dedicated ledge. This isn't a problem, but oddly enough I could have done without the ledge entirely as my eraser _really_ clings to this thing.Frankly, if my markers were magnetic I'd almost love a completely flat version of this thing.It ships with four phillips-head screws and four wall anchors. The screws are pretty long at 3cm (1.18in) so I had to substitute some shorter ones in half my installation.Anyway, I'm very happy with this purchase; the price was reasonable for the quality of construction and it fit my intended mounting area perfectly in terms of measurements and black color.

They look pretty good except that one of the two is trash as far as looks are concerned. And when organization is the goal, looks tend to be very important! Take a look at my photo. One of the marker nestles is very crooked and this is how it was manufactured and shipped out. That’s pretty poor so I suppose where I’m going with this is that you just gamble on getting a good or bad one!??

As others have indicated, the metal corners are very sharp. In my classroom I've used strong magnets with 1/2" hooks to hold the item to my whiteboard, and position the hooks to cover the corners so kids (and adults!) don't get scratched.I anticipate this will function long beyond my retirement in 13 years.

I keep buying these for my office and coworkers. It's a little more expensive than the cheap, plastic things you'd find, but they are really nice-looking and premium-feeling. It holds 5 markers and an eraser, and has a nice texture. It's wide, too, so that you keep your wall looking nice.

It looks like a kid took this and threw white spray primer all over it. The rough texture will absolutely get disgusting around whiteboards and worse off is that it arrived with rust spots visible...stuff that won't come off.Only positive is that the price is good and this mounts to a wall (screws included).

I purchased this for our volunteer fire/rescue department for use in the rescue training room. I was pleasantly surprised that it is very durable and has weight to it, so it able to take abuse from the removing and placement of the markers and eraser from the multitude of users. Highly recommend and worth the price. Holder DOES NOT come with markers or eraser.

This mount was very easy to install to the drywall. It came with wall mounts and the holders are sturdy. However, the welding on this may look a little disorienting and not great craftsmanship. It appears to be made from Chinese factory.

Does what it is supposed to do. It’s a piece of old scrap metal that has been spray painted. It is cheap and effective, the quality is eh, but it’s doing what I bought it to do I would recommend. Functional but a tiny bit rough around the edges.

I wanted 3 but only could buy them one at a time therefore 3 x delivery costs and one of the purchases was much more expensive than the others, absolute rip off!

Even when I ordered the item, I thought that it was pricey. Once the item arrived, I understood why it cost so much. You get what you pay for. You should feel confident that while this product is expensive compared to similar items you will find, it has been made of the finest materials, and it will last for a very long time. Not only is it beautiful and simple, when you hold it, it is heavy and durable. I am very happy with this purchase.
