Doing a major garden renovation meant I had lots of new plants to keep track of. This book has been perfect and easy to use. So helpful to remember where I purchased plants and to have a place to record the advice found on the plant label and/or on the web. Would recommend to any gardener who has a lot to keep track of.

This exquisite journal was SO much more than expected! The book itself is very sturdy - there is a raised frame outlining the cover title. The pages are heavy paper with places for every bit of information possibly needed. I wish I had found this sooner and will definitely be getting another plus seveal of their other journals. This is a real treasure - Well Done "Write It Down" !

This is an excellent way to keep records on my seeds. I glued the seed packet to the back page and the laminated each one after I completed it so that I could use them for reference long term in my gardening binder. So good that I bought a second one when I ran out of pages.

I was looking for a journal more for yard items. I keep filling up my back yard with trees and shrubs and grasses. I want to keep maintance records on each from the day their planted for as long as possible. i'm sure i'll make this journal work, its very well made and I've very happy I found the gardener's journal. cornpatchguy

Glad I bought this one. I had a previous 5-year planner that was calendar style --since I don't write entries every day, I ended up with many useless blank pages. This one allows you to write in the season & date as needed whenever important garden info needs to be kept. It's also flexible enough that I can add in as many details as I want due to the Garden Note section on the back of each entry page. (I started a 'Best View' section for that day -- whether commenting on a particularly beautiful flower bud or the difficult decision of whether to watch the hummingbird check out the deck flowers or the cardinal flitting thru the wild black raspberry bush out back - it's a way to remember why I so love being out in my garden.) I particularly like the spiral binding (stays open as needed) and the hardboard front/back covers (minimizes dog-eared corners). Looks good sitting on my desk, patiently waiting for me to add entries. Will definitely buy more to stash away just in case they stop publishing it.

I love this journal. When I ordered this book it was a lot more attractive than I thought it would be. To be honest, I almost didn't purchase the journal because I didn't like the cover. However, it's much nicer in front of me than in the picture. There is plenty of space for pictures, notes, and any tags you would like to keep. It also has simple boxes to check off. I'm a novice gardener so it's great to have all the information I would need in one place.

Its alright. Cute and a good idea but the book needs to ve like bigger, some spots need more lines, itd be nice to have selection spots your could write in yourself, bc they dont have certain things listed or available to choose. I write big and alot so as nice as this book was, it just wasn't for someone who needs a lot of space, more lines, more pages, and more options. Its not bad but could be a lot bigger. I don't like how the front book cover has that open square though. It looks like you could put a picture in it or its just an illusion type thing but its just a literal random open square.

It's a very attractive journal, but it is a little heavy so not sure I'm going to cart it around the garden. However, it does allow for documenting your gardening activities on the front page. The back page allow for adding a picture, or other material, I attache the empty seed packets.
