Everything I Expected and more!
So I bought this headset knowing full well what Logitech has to offer. The G Series headsets in the past have always been great, and I even still have a set of Astro A40's (those are made by Logitech too). So their quality is great for being sub-$200 a crack, and we'll call it that. However.. my review is going to be more about the things I did NOT expect... that are actually amazing. - Included are both the Micro-USB connecting cable as well as a 3.5mm jack output cable. Did you know you can run both at the same time? Well you sure can! I found out I can run both my PC and audio mixer (used for consoles/streaming) at the same time with NO AUDIO LOSS! Pretty unique feature that NO ONE HAS EVER MENTIONED.. and is likely the most unintentional and necessary use of my life thus far. -Between the headset buttons and G-Hub (logitech's on-board software) can actually be mapped for discord, obs studio, and more.. So another feature I didn't think I'd be using/getting.. and I'm using it all the time.. pretty good. -The overall design. Let's be real, these just LOOK good. Some of you might find that the overall design can be misleading as you may put it on backwards a few times (especially if not using the built in microphone), and even though that has happened.. the remainder of design is marvelously engineered to be ergonomic and sleek. The thing's F*&!%^ comfortable too.. Cool AND comfortable... too good to pass up. -G-Hub.. yes, it's their software to run "profiles" and etc.. But this software, along with this headset... Maximum Gamer Mode! Not only is it RGB capable and customizable for your liking... Let's say you just blew $300-ish on getting rid of your Corsair peripherals.. and got yourself a brand new G502 mouse and G Series mechanical keyboard (hypothetically... of course...).. not only can you sync up color schemes.. but you can add a wonderful "equalizer visualization" to... all of it... and not gonna lie.. that's like the Ultra-Instinct to nerding out over RGB... and I do so.. rather unashamed.. And that's it. If you didn't know, now you know. I 100% recommend this headset, quality and sound are exactly what you expect from Logitech's G-Series. I'd 12/10 recommend if you already have G-Series "Lightsync" peripherals already (or buy them too...) as then you get to make the most of G-Hub and your light themes (also saves on processing power / RAM use to have all peripherals run on ONE bit of software vs Multiple). I will say this though.. the Noise cancellation isn't really... all there, but the lack of doesn't even lose this headset a star.

So good, I bought the same headset a second time!
Like the title said, this is the second time I've picked up this headset, the first I bought from a local electronics store. I'm not one to really go into too much detail when writing reviews, but here goes! So the Logitech G635 is a wired gaming headset to be used on the PC. The earcups are fabric so it breathes for those long gaming sessions, but will leak a lot of sound if you keep your volume high. The build quality overall for me is pretty good, the headset lasting for years of daily use, though I found myself replacing the cabling more than once, which is no big deal but might be a consideration for anyone else. The sound is a good mix of bass and higher notes without going too heavy in either direction. Unfortunately, this is where my review ends, as I haven't really used the other features. I don't use the microphone that comes attached to the headset and I don't use the RGB part since it relies on the USB portion to power the lights and I use the 3.5mm connection to attach it to my PC.

Stopped working 8 months in (see edit)
Headset and mic worked fabulously for about 6 months and then the mic started cutting out and I'd have to disconnect it from my comp to get it to work again. Lately the sound has also started cutting out. Friends tell me they hear static and popping when I try to talk and I'll hear some popping on occasion. I take really good care of my equipment and it has not been abused. Nice looking headset and it feels good on my ears. The sound quality was great when it was working, but I found that the logitech G hub wasn't very helpful in setting up my sound quality. I've talked to others that have purchased this headset or similar logitech headsets and have been told the same thing happened to most of them. Logitech used to be great and I have a number of items that have lasted a long time. Sadly, this was an expensive one that stopped working. Edit 4/14/22. Seems the cord was faulty or shorted out. When I tried the console cord they started working fine again. Sadly the other cord is much shorter, but it is working so I'm much happier now.

Fantastic yet somewhat fragile in construction - handle with care
This is the BEST headset yet. Quality of sound and comfort surpass any other I've tried. Handle with some care however and you will be more than pleased.

Broke in about 3 months - Not worth
#1 gripe about this headset is that the ear coverings simultaneously do a poor job blocking out external sound and a great job at locking in body heat. Sound is very tinny over 80% volume and is very flat at lower volumes. Mid-range bass is decent but not great at the price point. The microphone stores up into the headphones very neatly which is nice but it feels cheap when you move it up and down. The rest of the headset feels well-made from the cables to the casing to the rear mounted buttons. Bottom line is that this headset is marginally better than many $20 headsets out there and I don't feel like I upgraded from my last headset that was just over half the price of this one. I still give three stars because it feels sturdy and well-made overall despite the issues above. Update: Volume adjustment stopped working. Less than 3 months old. Took the headset apart to see if it might be a simple fix but unfortunately it is not. The volume knob is attached to a resistor using the tiniest piece of plastic. This part broke at the knob so it would only be repairable if I bought a soldering iron and a knew knob with a variable resistor to solder in place. Not worth. Don't buy this product. Update 2: It's been about 8 months now and the both the left and right speakers cut in and out randomly. It's far more common to be running off one or the other than having both producing sound at the same time. Looking for a new headset. Don't buy this one.

Se usar o DTS 2.0 para jogos ele superou as minhas expectativas. Ótimas opções no programa g hub. Apenas no usb no proprio fone.

To give some background I've had some Siberia V2 for the last nearly 9 years. The bridge on them has given up on me and the mic no longer works (i can fix it once i have the tools I need which thanks to covid are stuck somewhere else). I needed another headset both for gaming and work ASAP so I went with these. Do note that I do wanted to initially get the Corsair VOID which is significantly cheaper, but I decided on these since these have the option to use the 3.5mm jack and USB. NOTE the cords are both completely detachable which I did not know when i purchased it (pleasant surprise). This headset compared to the Siberia's is a tad bit heavier, both are plastic headsets but this one has a metal arc on the headband which I think adds to the weight. The RGB lighting is fully customizable in the G-HUB app if you do use the USB cable. I do not since I have a STX II Essence Sound card which is ideally why I wanted a headset with a 3.5mm jack. The USB sound cards these have are never as good as solid sound cards. The 7.1 surround sound works really well with the USB port and you can have both the USB and 3.5mm jack connected at the same time and flip between them fairly easily if you so wish. The reason I'm sticking to the 3.5mm jack is because of the gain, the uSB even at highest for me it's too quiet, whereas using the 3.5mm jack with my sound card i can get the same volume at around 8-12% volume, it's a huge difference if you like going deaf constantly (I do blast my music here and then at higher volumes, but driving these cans higher than 30% for me is certain dead ear drums). The headset is very comfortable but the material makes it a bit slippery so I do have to adjust it on my head here and then as my hair is currently long and it slides down a bit. Sound Quality wise, i do notice the difference between the Siberias and these logitechs. The Siberias sound significantly better specially in the sharper sounds, but these haven't really been broken in yet either so maybe the sound might improve a bit more. Otherwise, as usual the biggest selling point for me is Logitech's 2year warranty and their relative no fuss customer support which has always been great and why I continue purchasing their products.
