I purchased two sizes of this dress because normally if I buy the bigger size (the size my middle is now), armholes will be too big. While both were comfortable and looked pretty good, the bigger one was better on me now while I have a little extra in my middle. The armholes fit well on both. This fits so much more nicely than many of the super cheap dresses you find online. I'd exchange the smaller for one size bigger, but it's out of stock on that color in the bigger size. Since I'm normally a little smaller and am losing weight, I'll keep it. The bigger one will still fit when I lose the weight because the material is so stretchy.While this is slimming, don't go too small because it will be more flattering and smoother in a size that isn't as tight. Also, make sure your bra doesn't allow bumps to show; you might need to use foam inserts you buy in the lingerie department at your local department store or a "no-show" type of bra. It's both business like and sexy. Looks good under a jacket or cardigan and dresses up so easily with a shawl. Can be worn with pretty flats or heels, platform sandals, or pumps.In the same order, I got three other dresses and am returning them all because they all look cheap, make me look lumpy, and don't fit well. This one, however, is a keeper. I only wish they had even more colors and had the colors they have in all sizes. I'd love a dark grey and even a shimmery silver for a dressy evening out.Please note: The way you arrange the dress on your body makes a difference. If you have the folds over the tummy going straight across you look slimmer than if you have them pulled down in the middle. Mine rode up a little when I wore it, but not too much. I practiced in front of the mirror adjusting it so I knew how to do it without a mirrow. It's possible that even one more size up may have eliminated the need. So, my recommendation is to buy the size you are, not the size you hope it squeezes you down into. I always buy a size or two down in dresses and have to wear stretch fabrics because my frame is small but I'm an hourglass. With a little extra tummy, that becomes more challenging. While I lose weight to get back to my norm, I'll be wearing this dress in every color that looks good on me. That's why I want more colors--more reds and purples to be specific and a deep clear turquoise.

This is a gorgeous dress! I bought it in the Aubergine and the color was exactly what is on the website. (Of course, everyone's monitor shows something slightly different, so this may not mean much.) I wore it for a wedding and got a million compliments.Notes:-The V is just deep enough to give the "classy sexy" look and not the "hooker in disguise" look. I wore a regular bra with no problems of coverage.-Speaking of bras, the bodice fabric is thin. It won't show any color (I wore a dark blue bra), but it does show edges, so try to wear a tee-shirt bra or something.-The ruching is so, so flattering! However there is no tummy control. At all.-Length is just below the knee on me, perfect. (About 5'2. )-The skirt is a true A-line, perfect for dancing.Conclusion: I would recommend this dress. It's a great multi-season option with a classic silhouette, easy to wear.

This dress fit me so well I bought it in six colors. Great wrinkle-free fabric; vibrant colors. The only thing I expected to be a little different was that the deep water color is less of a turquoise as it appeared in the photos, but more of a Copenhagen blue or slate blue. I kept that dress because it's still a pretty color.

I am 5'4'', 133 lbs, pear shaped, with a short torso and longer legs relative to my height. A size 6 fit perfectly. I was worried about too much cleavage; I am a 36D but it stretched nicely to actually completely cover and didn't require a cami It is not a thick material but not so thin that I need shapewear or a slip. Will be nice for warmer weather. The only complaint I have is that it hits about an inch below the knee, but oh well I am short. Good to dress up for date and can still be professional at work when I wear it with a cardigan or blazer. I will buy another color

I wanted a comfortable, pretty dress for an upcoming trip - one I could dress up or down and pair with a variety of shawls and sweaters. This is perfect! The fabric is a nice weight (not too thin) and doesn’t seem to wrinkle easily. It’s form-fitting but not too tight. Very figure-flattering.

I am very satisfied with this dress. I ordered the aubergine and it is a beautiful, rich purple that I was very pleased with. I read many reviews stating there is plenty of fabric in this dress, and at 5'0 and 140lbs (I'm a little chubby and carry my extra pounds in my tummy), I didn't exactly find that to be true. I ordered the small but may have preferred the extra fabric that a medium would have given me. Since I am short the length goes well past my knee but not quite to my calves. I personally love the length as it makes this an appropriate dress for church or the office, and I think this would also make a beautiful dress for a wedding guest! Overall I really like this dress and will probably buy more colors.

I love this dress! I ordered the bright pink color, and have worn it tons already this summer. It goes on easy and makes me look slimmer. I'm not so sure it's actually controlling anything (the pinching and smothering of a girdle would be horrible in the summer anyway) but it definitely makes me LOOK slimmer. I get tons of compliments whenever I wear it. I wear it around the house with the kids, and then out on date night. It's classic style--you look pulled together and stylish but it can easily be casual enough for day to day wear. Change the accessories to dress it up or dress it down. I am very picky about what I add to my wardrobe, but I just ordered a second one of these in blue. I love it that much.

It fits nicely, slimming, covers tummy bulge. Not too long for my 5'2". Would wear for work or semi-formal wedding maybe with a dressier jacket or cardigan. Poly nylon stretchy comfortable, good weight.

This dress fits so well. It has a bit of stretch and holds everything in. The ruching through the waist is slimming and makes the dress fit well. It is especially great if you have a longer torso and the defined waist of most dresses never hits in the right spot. I can't wait to wear this dancing!!
