After 40 years my Rolex stopped working, and the cost was going to be $1,500 to fix it (and replace the crystal etc.). While my wife and I were out one day, we spotted this watch in a jewelry store. Although it wasn't gold, I was immediately impressed, and after we got home I looked on Amazon and found it.I have a small wrist, and didn't want to be wearing the wall clocks that some men are wearing. The bezel is 37mm, just large enough without being huge. It really is stylish, in part because it's very thin (5mm).Though I probably won't wear it when I'm hiking, it's good to know that the crystal is sapphire and won't easily scratch. The bracelet is VERY comfortable. As light as the whole watch is, it's substantial. That is, I don't feel as though I'm going to break it. And it's water resistant to 99 feet not that I'll ever be down more than 5 feet.To set the date, btw, you simply pull out the step part-way, and turn it to the correct date. You do not have have the hands go through a 24 hour cycle for each day. To change the time, just pull the stem out all the way. The accuracy has been more than satisfactory.Stylistically, it's a five star watch. Because it doesn't have the day, I might take off half a star, but for some the day doesn't mean that much. Now that I'm semi-retired, the day is more important than the date. Both the old indicators - TV schedules and the morning newspaper - are gone.IMPORTANT: Something that is not in the instructions, but I got from the service center - Do not set the date between 9PM and 2AM because the date wheel mechanism is cycling during those hours and can jam. To err on the side of caution, only set the date during daylight hours.

Had them for 2 years now - extremely satisfied. Had to change the battery once, but no other problems. Beautiful piece of work for the price - highly recommended.
