**Update** 11/22/22 - Communicated with Bissell and they agreed to replace the sweeper. I thought that this was great customer service to replace a sweeper that wasn't a year old and had already broken. I received the "replacement" sweeper today...they sent me a $20 model?! They didn't send me a replacement of the same model? None too pleased with this. So, I contacted them to find out why I did not receive an exact model replacement and am waiting to hear back. In the meantime, given that I have just now received a $20 sweeper, I am seeking out a volunteer who would be willing to spot weld the $60 sweeper so that we can use it again. So frustrating. Original Review - 11/16/22 This sweeper worked fairly well with our school use. It was used throughout the week to clean up after our lunch periods during school operating hours. It broke today at the weld that connects the handle to the head and is unable to fixed other than welding it. It was purchased 11/18/21 and broke 11/16/22...just under a year later. Now, it doesn't get used for 3 months out of the year because of summer break. So, it really was only used for 9 months and is already broken. When it wasn't broken, it worked fairly well each day. Currently awaiting to see if Bissel will replace it.

My husband and I remembered this useful tool.from our childhoods, thought it would be perfect for a quick cleanup in all areas! We were so happy to find this on Amazon. Been using it for a couple weeks on both tile and carpet AND IT WORKS GREAT! Cat spills some crunchy food out of his bowl and I can clean it up Pronto, without needing to pull out the vacuum. Same for hair on bathroom floor, dirt dragged in front door, and a bit of flour spilled on kitchen floor. I haven't used it for anything wet, not because I don't think it will pick it up, but because then I would need unstick the stuff from the Easy To Empty dirt collection compartment. Tip: Some times you need to push the sweeper a little bit past the litter both forward and bacward. I think the mechanism needs a bit more movement if the cleanup area us very small.

This product fixed the problem that sidelined the other sweeper I had; which was how the handle was attached to the bar on top. It was done with a spot weld and I am surprised that it lasted as long as it did. Bissell provides a sturdy bar and tab that screws on to the handle. This makes for easy use and steering. The sweeper has good wheels and brushes that operate smoothly and clean well. Oddly, there were no cleaning tools included, which would have been nice. But overall, the asking price of $45.00 is good value for this item.

I bought this thinking the brand and "commercial" use label would make for better quality. I was wrong. Carpet sweepers are essential part of my cleaning routine. I am so disappointed because every section of the handle has stripped/misfitting threading so that it falls apart during use. Even the plastic handle does not thread properly with the metal handle. I have purchased other non commercial carpet sweeper models and had no problems. Due to a delay in using this, I didn't realize the problem until after the return date closed. Dissatisfied.

I got this to replace one I bought 21 years ago and use it every summer on my pontoon boat. 21 years is a long time and this is the exact same sweeper. I am amazed and thrilled to get this replacement. (It will out last ME, for sure !) It picks up a mess of pine needles, even wet ones which my lakeside boat always has. Picks up sand and all. I leave it stowed yearlong on my boat which is in on a Maine lake. A wonderful product.

I caught my Bissell on sale so the only way I could’ve been happier about the price is if I had received it as a game show parting gift. This thing is great. I already had a Bissell, vacuum cleaner and carpet cleaner now I have a trifecta ! I purchased it for light cleaning of my new Persian style area rugs. I have since discovered it works just as well on all my carpets and bare floors. I would buy it again and recommend it to any and all. It’s compact, light weight and energy efficient/eco friendly

A bit pricey, but I love this sweeper. It's manual (not electric or battery operated), but so easy and quick to use. I originally saw it at a local discount store for around $30.00 a year ago and wish I had bought it then.

Love this sweeper because it picks up stuff so we’ll, but the handle broke off and it’s unfixable. Purchased for a classroom. Clearly not sturdy enough for student use. It’s too bad because it worked really well.

Excellen t product great quality .. easy to use .... very effective on most if not all surfaces a real charm

It is the best in the market, solid quality and materials. Just be careful not to cross thread the handle when assembling. Regards

Works on carpet and floors. Use it at my janitor jobs for quick pick-ups. It will pick up large gravel and even ear plugs that my expensive vacuum won't.

Love this Wish I could find where to buy replacement rollers
