Great taste without the Side effects
I have been trying to find a product that is comparable to a caffeinated coffee and this is the closest I have found. It brews into a rich tasting beverage and I don't have to worry about the ill-effects of caffeine as well as the acid which is usually a part of the coffee experience. I love the French Roast, too.

Low acid plus antioxidants!
I really love this coffee. I usually use half regular and half decaf because of my acid reflux. It has a wonderful taste and does have lower acid plus antioxidants!

If you suffer from UTI’s you should try it.
This has been a good substitute for my regular decaf. I suffer from UTI’s when I have too much caffeine and as of recent too much acidity. It was a struggle to give in and spend the extra money, but I’m glad that I did. I will say that at first I was scared because when I opened the bag it smelled more like sweet dirt than coffee. The grinds are much finer and darker looking, like potting soil. It’s very bitter black, but add a little cream and it’s fine. I prefer my coffee strong, this is good though.

Great for gastritis
I have very mild gastritis. And we don’t know the cause. But I didn’t want to give up my daily cup(s) of coffee. So I opted to try this low acid decaffeinated coffee to replace my Starbucks decaf dark coffee. Making the change to this brand of low acid coffee actually helped my gastritis significantly. And the taste is smooth. It was a change going from a dark decaf to something more medium. But it tastes good and I feel closer to normal. My only complaint is the cost but I’m planning on continuing to purchase. Just reduce my coffee. I used 6 tbsp for a 12-cup pot of coffee. And for a 2.5lb bag, that lasted a little over a month. I’ll be reducing my coffee intake to save money on this. But seeing how just this one change affected my gastritis.. will def keep purchasing. I just ordered the 2.5lb mocha one to try.

Very smooth flavorful coffee
This is a very smooth coffee. It has a really great flavor. It’s smooth no acid kickback. I’ve reordered it multiple times now.

A Must for Sensitive Tummies!
I can drink this daily without any stomach issues. My husband, who is kinda picky about this coffee, likes the flavor of both the caff and decaf versions. Bottom line: sensitive stomachs will like these coffees and you will enjoy the flavor!

Taste and Quality Not What It Used To Be
In the past, this was my go-to brand of Low-Acid Coffee. I loved the flavor, the quality was spot on, and I was finally able to enjoy coffee without having to worry about my GERD acting up. But this time... I was taken aback when I took my first sip from this new bag. It was actually so sour that I had to rush to the sink just to spit it out. In fact, the flavor was so off that I checked the expiration date on the bag because I was certain I must have gotten one that was expired and rancid. When the date said next year, I sadly knew it was just the coffee itself. After checking other reviews, I was disappointed to found out that my experience wasn't a unique experience, and the flavor of the coffee was just going downhill. In the end, I was very fortunate to be able to get a full refund for my purchase, and had to toss the entire huge bag of coffee in the bin.

Less acidic. Less taste.
This is the second flavor/roast of this brand that I’ve tried. It just tastes flat and stale to me. I hoped to switch to it in total, but has to mix it with my whole bean decaf to make it passable. (My local market sells one that’s almost as good regular brand.) The mixing-in definitely cuts back even more on stomach irritation (hence 3 stars), so I can drink more but... No. Won’t purchase again. The owner of my favorite local coffee shop told me that you can’t really adjust the acid in coffee, only the roast and the tannins it creates, which can add to stomach irritation. He gets reflux from coffee too (the horror!) and says the best thing to do is to drink what tastes good to you, but drink less. So, I’m going to stick with my decaf beans, as the caffeine is part of my problem, and ditch the “low acid” roasts. Whatever is happening to make it less irritating is destroying the flavor for me.
