2400W MONOCLASS D Mono AMP (GM-D9701)

i have installed many many systems over the years but since my 30s i kinda slowed down with all the bigg subs and what not.well i decided to buy this amp and the skar dual sdr 10's in the skar slot ported box they sell here on amazon or the skar site for 299. The best purchase i have made in years the auto turn when using the high level adapter (supplied) in the amp box is great no running around looking for a 12v accessory for remote turn on amp just senses signal and turns on you really only have to run 1 wire from the front the 4 or zero gauge to the rear and your set i did run the bass knob and its ok it does kill some of the sound since its i believe a 12db 50hz boost but the combo is absolutely fantastic its a lot but not to much . i never never liked ported boxes because they always had such a hollow sound but the new subs they make sound great ported its so so so so great anyway cant say enough this is 1 badass amp that actually makes its power is cheap and sound unbelievable BUY THIS NOW came fast and works perfectly ask any thing and i will answer any questions i can very straight forward set up now for the pioneer 4 channel i thiunk its the gmd9704 or 8704 anyway a 4 ch i would really love 2 4 channels 1 for all my mids and 1 for all my highs and btw all running off my factory deck so i didnt loose my driver info center which is built into my stock radio mpg average speed trip a and trip b all that bs and the chimes and onstar and sirus xm which i do love cause its so clear anyway buy this shit

Had one arrive DOA but replacement was here the day after I filed complaint. Easy to install. Easy to setup, only a gain and frequency knob. Wired subs down to 1 ohm to take advantage of all the power. Ran Stinger 4 gauge wire kit. Grounded under the piece of rear seat deck that had a space to sand the paint away. Running two alpine type s 12 dvc 4 ohm and they are definitely pounding with this amp. Gain set at nominal, frequency to 60hz, mostly rap and funk/disco playlists. CHEAPEST AMP WITH A REPUTABLE NAME BRAND AND THIS MUCH POWER!!! Seriously, if you are looking, just buy it for your 1 ohm subs.

Amazing amp. Bought this because it was smaller and had the RCA output and that made my hook up work. I'm running a jack to rca from a bluetooth receiver and then rca to jack out from the amp I to my stock aux in. This avoided a need to splice an RCA line out into my stock wiring. Only downside, I can't bump radio but who listens to that anymore anyway. Anyway, I was pushing my 15" Kicker on my Kole Audio 5500 and when this came in. I swapped the Amos and the sub but even harder than it did on my Kole. It was an obvious upgrade in output power. Definitely impressed. It's a sweet amp.

Works like it should

This amp performance is very good, it is doing what it supposed to do.

Cuts in and out at low to mid volumes. No problems at higher volumes.

After over half a decade of service my Fosgate P1000x1bd decided to burn up, so I grabbed this amp to hold me over until I can afford an amp that will really push my 2 T1D412's. This amp does crank out some power, slightly more than the fosgate; but the sound quality is horrible. The gap between my mids and lows is stark now and the bass sounds very flat. This amp also overheats pretty often when you're running it hard, despite me having set my gains via multimeter; I found that surprising being that this is a class D and I never once overheated the Fosgate which was an AB. The price was right for an amp I only plan on running for a month or two, but if you're looking for good sound quality and performance it's worth it to shell out the extra cash for a better brand.
