They seem very sturdy for withstanding the water pressure. They were also very easy to install.

First I installed clear acrylic housing which eventually cracked just below the threads. Waste of money. Installed these white housings and have not had a single problem since.

Upon reading through forums and reviews of the Express Water system, it is apparent that the housing tends to have microcrack that causes leaks and unfortunately my household is a victim of that. Replaced O-Rings and it didn't work so we went on ahead and replaced the suspect housing. So far so good without any leaks.

I have been changing the filters in our RO system for 10 years or so. The pre-filter housings have always been single o-ring standards and I have often had to torque them very hard with the wrench to stop dripping. The 2 clear housings started to fail this last change so I bought this set to change all 3.The 2 o-ring unit in my picture is not of this unit, but it has the o-rings in the same place so you can get an idea of how they look. I meant to take a picture before they were installed, because I know there is no stock picture showing the o-rings.I also wanted to get all white plastic this time because I have found the clear to be less reliable and gets brittle over time causing the threads to crack. Apart from the o-rings, these seem sturdy, well made and I expect them to last another 10 years.

bought three because I thought it likely from past experience that one might not work. I was right, one leaked. no quick connect fittings, just standard pipe fittings on mine, hope you do better.

Finally a set of filters that needs only your hands to be tightened. It's been a week and my RO system seems in perfect condition. Great price and quality.
