Very Handy
This is a great antiseptic but also great for repelling insects. I use it for both and love it.

A Natural Antiseptic
This product has been in my family’s medicine cabinet for generations. It works great on scrapes and cuts and takes the sting out of insect bites almost immediately. Wounds heal much faster than with traditional antiseptic creams with the added benefit of almost instant pain relief. It has a familiar pine scent that reminds me of my childhood when my mother would dab it on my “owies”. It’s great to find it on Amazon. I thought it had been lost to modern replacements. The last time I bought it was at an independent corner drugstore in my neighborhood - now long gone. Keep it in your medicine cabinet and be surprised at the benefits of a simple product with a long history of healing.

Helps with healing
This is an old choice of products but it works well in healing and soothing wounds - glad to get it I have to give an update - after being bit by a mosquito and a large whelp raised on my arm I applied Apinol. It worked great - the itching was gone in seconds and the whelp was totally gone in about 5 minutes! I recommend buying it

Wow. This stuff WORKS
I accidentally came across this and took a chance and ordered it. Wow. I live in South America and there are some nasty mosquitos that leave me itching for a week. The bites often become inflamed. Literally, I spray this and no swelling, and the itch does away. I also tried it on my daughter’s sunburn and in 30 minutes, she said it felt a lot better. It actually is an oil so a tiny bit goes a long way. It is the only thing I have used that is fast and super effective.

Great addition to your natural remedy cabinet.
I use it in conjunction with our homemade anti-tick spray. The Apinol (meaning "a pine oil") is a lighter oil than suntan oil in its viscosity. Yep, you will smell like a pine tree (of course). It works for me when I am clearing brush and mowing my pastures. Majority of insects avoid me. If I do have a barrage of insect bites/stings, light scraps and abrasions, Apinol offers some relief. But having a few beers may also assist ! But I find it best to apply Apinol BEFORE getting into the weeds/brush. Dry skin of knees and elbows benefit if you are spending time outside in dry environs. This purchase was my second time of ordering. A personal historical note: My Dad prepared pine inner bark and knots into a poultice as part of a bandage. This poultice was to heal my very abraded knees due to a nasty skateboard wipe out. I was about 8 yrs old then. It was the only method used that gave relief to such a flexible area. I could note heal well with other methods of that time as I would not stay still very long....HA! The Apinol reminds me of when my Dad did the bandaging. If he were still alive I would have more questions now than those I ever pestered his patience with decades ago.
