This pack is FABULOUS, I took it on a trip thru Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada this Summer. Temps as high as 106, this cooler was strapped to my motorcycle luggage rack and held my insulin... from 4 to 7 hours in the sun and there was ice in the bottom every day... kept my insulin cool and made it possible for me to have a cold drink along the way too :-) Added bonus, the soft pack, was easy to bungie down, and was much easier to load than a 'box'... I'd highly recommend the Ice Mule. I got the Orange pack, you can see it on this picture of me on the trip.

I purchased the large. Perfect cooler....not going to keep your ice for 24 hours in the summer though. Fits 18 cans and ice very easily comfortably...could fit up to 24 with ice. Interior and exterior materials seem very tough. Sturdy made, appears all the straps, buckles and seems are made to last. First test: pretty extreme first run, 18 beers and ice, closed cooler, stuck in my shed on summer day (probably 105 in there). After 24 hours I had no ice, water and beer were pretty cold but it was evident ice had been gone for several hours. Second test: 3 days in a row took it to the racetrack. Each morning around 11:00 put in 20 fridge cold beers and a 7 lb bag of ice. The cooler got opened a lot, I kept it in the shade as much as possible but it saw plenty of sun, outside temp was probably 83-88 degrees on average. Each day when leaving, around 7:00 p.m. the cooler still had a very cold ice and water mix. It performed perfectly...I just don't think under any summer circumstance its going to keep ice for 24 hours but I wont really need it to so it is an A+ for me. The diameter of the large will support 10 cans, the height will support 2 rows easily so 20 cans and ice is very easy to achieve. The shoulder strap is about as comfortable as 20 cans and ice can be digging into your shoulder, it pretty easy to carry by the buckle too like a handle. It gets lighter the more you drink so by the end of the day it is rolled up and the size of a newspaper.

I previously bought an IceMule large and loved it. Bought this to use when at the beach or wherever I just need something for a day for myself and/or wife. Works great. Really keeps things cold for a long time and super easy to carry. I was skeptical about it being on strap but the way they have the attachment points arranged it easily stays on your shoulder no problem. I just don't get the "Yeti thing" as in value for the cost. More like a status symbol if you can call it that. LOL. I have had several people comment on how nice and functional this is.

At the end of August 2018 2 friends and I rode the Northwest Passage ADV route, which goes from the Seattle area to Montana. The route has primarily a dirt focus. I rode a DRZ400S. We turned around after 3 1/2 days of hard riding, only to do the same route in reverse. We only made it to the Idaho border.I brought a Trangia 27 cook kit, which if you know about camping cook sets, is designed for more than just boiling water. This meant I'd be cooking for my buddies everyday. I grabbed an IceMule 10L cooler before the trip because I wanted to be able to carry eggs, cheese, sandwich meat, etc.Every day we came out of the mountains for gas, and we restocked with ice and food. It fit a bag of ice (or most of it) with whatever we wanted in the cooler, including Jack and Diet Coke. Every day, I fried up eggs with something else for breakfast (usually Spam and grilled onions). While it was heavy filled with food and ice on the back of my rack, it worked perfectly and I would bring it again. Ice lasted for at least 24 hours, and I didn't add any air in the valve to try to better insulate the contents.Highly recommended.

Versatile cooler, attractive and kept my beverages cold for 6.5 hours in 85-90 degree weather, 1.5 hours in the sun.I am probably odd gal out expecting it to be a bit smaller. I was looking for something to carry just a few beverages on my paddleboard. This cooler can hold a good bit more than the 6 cans as advertised. I would say 9 easily or 6 and a healthy amount of lunch/snacks.I would prefer a heartier shoulder strap and think a cross body carry strap or dual straps like the larger backs would be a nicer option.Great color choices.

Who doesn't like a cold drink?? Eskimoes and Siberians. If you're not an Eskimo or Siberian, this cooler is for you. Your drinks will stay cold and enjoyable. If you are an Eskimo or Siberian, you don't need it because you live in cooler; save your money and buy some coal. Only one flaw - if you're in a hot/humid environment the ice will melt, but DUH. The price is right on the Ice Mule and you won't need a 2nd mortgage (I'm looking at you Yeti, Orca, K2). Works great on the beach, boat, canoe, or skateboard. This is lightweight and fits easily in your car, truck, minivan, or golf cart. If you take a Forrest Gump trek across the country or just go to the golf course, the Ice Mule will be perfect.

So -- I'm a fly fishing guide and have used Yeti hard sided coolers for years. They have a soft cooler now that's around $250 or $300 I decided to save $200 and Tey the Ice Mule WOW, I was so impressed I bought another one so I have both sizes. They keep ice as advertised and there are zero leaks they don't even "sweat"!Love em and so sorry Yeti people I've made the move and taken the sticker of my back window.

This is the perfect cooler for my summer beach time needs! I am sure it will also come in handy for overnight camping trips & a fishing day in the boat. It holds a full bag of ice all day & into the night. Make sure you get cured ice from a cooler and not wet ice from the dispencers..... You may pay 50cents more but it makes a BIG difference.One day I put 1/2 bag of ice and full picnic for 4. Another day I put a 12 pack of beer with ice & a few other snacks. It holds a LOT with some room to spare. I got the large ice mule in Green and I am very happy with my purchase. The fact that it collapses down at the end of the day helps out a bunch when hauling my stuff back to the car. The shoulder strap makes it so easy to cary. The material is very high quality and I think that it will last a long time! I did a lot of research on different coolers before I finally decided on this one and it turned out to be.......everything I hoped it would be!!!

Just what I wanted for days out, the size is perfect for drinks and snacks for one or two. I have a bigger version of this pack and can’t recommend them enough, ice does remain solid inside for 12 hours + without melting, I haven’t tested it for longer periods yet, and it is very comfortable to carry. Despite being quite pricey when including shipping from the States I wouldn’t consider any other now because it delivers on all front. Another plus point my ICEMULE arrived well ahead of schedule in time for the heatwave :))

Arrived very quickly and just as described, unfortunately due to the very tight packaging I damaged it getting it open.

Cooler met expectations...works exactly as advertised. It is light weight and still has good insulation properties. Directions make it clear you should "fold" down the top to close it properly and clip shut. That is exactly the case. Rolling it shut is not as effective. It works to carry it, or slip it over the shoulder back pack style. You can fit in 12-18 standard beverage cans as long as you stack them. You can open a valve to squeeze out the air between the cans to reduce the bulk. I haven't tested it yet to see how long it keeps content cold.

This thing is great!, bought the 20L Classic Cooler. I do alot of kayaking/camping and frequently use dry-bags to hold items. They are easy to carry, and pack very easily. The Ice Mule is a great device, basically a dry bag cooler. A few notable features I've found that work for me are:It floats even when loaded, waterproof in the rain, provides cushioning to sensitive items inside, packs easy, cleans easier, is compressible based on the amount of items in the cooler, they guarantee it cold for 24hrs but on our trips with a few ice packs items stayed cold well into 48hours. If your outdoorsy, are keen on waterproof/floating capability, this thing is awesome.

It's perfect. Very practical. It floats, is easy to carry when empty part compact. Comfortable strap. I totally recommend it.

メーカーの説明通り、確かに24時間、氷が持ちます。常温で日陰の屋内で丸一日放置しテストしましたら、1.5Lのペットボトル氷がまだ3分の1残ってました。容量に応じて適度な氷が必要です。カヤックツーリングでのフィールドテストですが、製氷機の氷をそのままお弁当と入れてしまって、ビタビタになってしまったのは自分の失敗です。必ず何かの容器に入った氷や保冷剤を使いましょう(笑)アウトドアでもかなり持ちますので、従来のソフトクーラーとは比べ物にならない性能があります。ひとつ使いにくいのは、エアバルブが少し吹き込み難いのと、締め込むまでに空気が抜けやすい事かな。微妙な位置で緩めて置かないといけませんが、じきに慣れるとは思います。それを考えても野外で冷たい物が長時間持ち歩けるのは良いですね♪

夏の外での冷たい飲み物用に購入しました。性能は十分です。思っていたよりごっついという感じです。高さが2/3位でもう少し径が小さい５L位のサイズがあれば良いと思います。使い終わったあと丸めて小さく出来ますがそれでもやはり大きくて小さめのバックパックには入りませんでした。

意外とがっちりした素材で良かったです。持って移動が楽で、カッコいい。

最初は筒状のタイプと口の締め方に抵抗がありましたが、使っているうちになれました！匂いも付きにくく、中も簡単に洗えるので年中通して活躍しそうです♫

購入して1ヶ月。全く不満ありません。これから涼しくなると使用が無くなりますが、来年も使えたら文句なく☆５です！

保冷効果は思った以上にありました。空気を入れるのに少し苦労しましたが、肺活量の多い方なら簡単にできると思います。夏のドライブには欠かせません。

説明書も不十分なので補足しますが、このクーラーバッグの特徴は、保冷物のサイズに応じて、保冷空間を調整できる点です。例えば20LのハードクーラーBOXに500mLのペットボトル1本だけを入れる場合、残りの空間は隙間となり、保冷には不向きなのですが、この保冷バッグは、空気を吹き込むことにより内部の容量を変えられます。500ｍL＋氷のサイズにすれば、保冷能力は最大になります。冷熱が余分な空間や外壁に奪われるのを最小限にできるためですね。だから使用時はパンパンに空気を入れる必要があります。この作業を面倒に感じる人はソフトクーラーBOXにした方が良いでしょう。また、保冷性を考えると保冷物を多くしすぎると、断熱の空気層がなくなるので全容量の3/4ぐらいが最大保冷容量かな？と思います。

使わない時はコンパクトに丸めて収納できるソフトクーラーです。冷やしておきたいものを入れ、バルブから息を吹き込んで膨らませれば完成です。入れた空気が断熱層となり保冷効果を高めます。夏場は保冷材や凍ったお茶のペットボトルと一緒に入れれば効果が長持ちします。旅行やバイクツーリングやマリンスポーツで大活躍しています。防水バッグとしても機能します。大雨に遭遇した際、濡らしたくないものを入れて口を閉じると防水バッグになります。マリンスポーツの際、スマホや貴重品を入れておくのも便利です。落としても水に浮きます。カメラ等の機械を入れる場合はバルブから息を吹き込んで膨らませればクッション効果もあります。海外旅行の際、バスや列車での長時間移動時、途中で飲食物を購入できない場合に簡易冷蔵保管として使用できます。お土産で壊れやすいものを入れ、膨らませることで圧迫固定させてスーツケースの中に入れれば安全に運べます。非常用として自家用車にも積んでいます。保冷用途以外に緊急時、水を汲むバケツとしても使えます。

クーラーの断熱素材としてよく使われているのはウレタン・発泡スチロール・スポンジ当たりで共通して空気が断熱効果を発揮しています。ウレタンと発泡スチロールは固形なので肩に担ぐことは出来ても背負うのは辛いです。スポンジは形状は変化するものの断熱効果の点で他の素材に劣ります。本商品は空気そのものを入れて断熱素材とすることで自由な形状と断熱効果に十分な厚さを確保しています。本体はビニールとナイロン素材で断熱素材は空気なので余計な重量増はありません。肩に掛けても背負っても形が柔軟に変化し体にフィットする為楽に持ち運べます。さすがにMAX容量+氷だと重くて持ち運ぶのは大変ですが保冷剤に変えたりペットボトルを1本だけ凍らせた物を入れておけば担ぐことは可能です。柔軟な形状と長さを生かしてキャンプ時の食材を入れるのにもよさそうです。
