Locusts: Insects on the Move (Insect World) Library Binding – January 1, 2008

All of the books in the Lerner Insect World series are excellent. They're well made with a hard covers and smooth. crisp, thick paper. They're filled with large, detailed pictures; clear,simple,and engaging scientific text; and a nicely labeled diagram of the inside the insect. At the end is a kid-friendly glossary and a list of related web sites. They are all excellent, full of interesting facts and pictures without error or excess. I love using them in my classes. I have Stick Insects, Termites, Praying Mantises, Locust, Luna Moth, Mosquito, Hornets, and, my personal favorite, Diving Beetles. Well done and just right
