Instructions could be slightly clearer perhaps with colour coded pictures but given there is only one light green wire, one blue and one black it's pretty self explanatory, works excellent on my AVH-X490DAB, took 5 minutes to install, allows me to adjust all the greyed out settings I couldn't do previously (such as screen brightness and Bluetooth settings)For anyone looking to install this on the same model radio as me..Green on bypass goes to light/ pale green on wiringBlue on bypass to light blue on wiringBlack to blackAllows you to watch DVDs while driving (if you want to get arrested for driving without due care and attentiin")

Works like a treat with simple instructions allows you to upgrade or factory reset your pioneer device.Which wouldn't be possible unless the brake bypass has been connected directly to your handbrake.Which 99% of the time this procedure isn't necessary carried out.You'll be abe to reply as the firmware and factory reset will be in grey.This will eliminate that issue

As intended, this device unlocks the android auto features etc on my pioneer avh-z5100. Really easy to install - I crimped the green/blue ends and put them into a connector, then just scotchlok'd the black wire half way along the pioneer harness ground cable

Had to fit this bypass as my 96 Audi Cabriolet does not like to be messed around with too much, this handy device saved me a lot of time and stress. I can confirm that it works perfectly with the AVH-Z7100DAB I installed.

I’m sure this is fine but it’s not needed for British cars as they don’t have the same requirements as American cars.

die Artikeln hab ich gekauft und dachte ich wuerde ich in einem Pioneer AVX Serien Radio einbauen lassen... aber war es nicht noetig (die Werkstatt koennte ohne den 'Brake ByPass' Kabel das gleiches Ziel erreichen, bzw, die Bremse Ueberbrueckung/Freischaltung ohne diese Artikel es geschaft). Daher hab ich diese Artikel zurueck gesendet.Fuer was ich gelesen hab, das Kabel macht was es soll, daher werde ich die 5 Sterne da gaben (obwohl hab ich den Kabel nicht benutz).
