Not happy with this product it was too stiff when cold and uncomfortable to sleep on. It also just did not stay cold long enough even with keeping it in the refrigerator when not in use. A waste of money.

As is usually the case with me, I did not get this cooling pad to cool, I got it to offset heat- i use usb and seedling heating pads with my bearded dragon, and this little gel pad keeps the direct heat from burning, and eventually heats uniformly to better warm her whole body. She will sleep on it all night, which allows me a little peace of mind- beardies gotta have heat, but Rhyno really does not like hot spots. with this, wherever she needs it comfortable heat is available.Then i had the brilliant idea to try it under my laptop as well- laptop runs 10+ degrees cooler and my leg doesn't burn. I honestly have no clue if it 'cools' as described- but I am gonna order a couple more, I'll try the cooling effect on one of those- I suspect it does cool to some degree, as it takes forever to get warm all over- which is perfect for my use now.

I'm going through 4-6 wake ups from night sweets a night from menopause.so went on a search to find a chilling pillow, and found the gel cooling pillow mat with 4 1/2 stars, I bought it knowing it stated it stayed cool throughout the night, it only stays cool for 15 mins, and it holds heat! Don't buy for menopause it doesn't work! But nice to have for Sun bathing, or to cool down for a short period of time!

Is nice and cool at first. Does get warm, though. Also, for me (this may be different for others) slips down inside pillow case, so gets out of place during the night.

It does not stay cool and slides around.

It cools my head down and I sleep better. I would highly recommend it to others who are bothered with a hot pillow.

Plastic was harder than I expected and it won't stay put. Once they collect your body heat, after about 1/2 hr, I found them too uncomfortable to use.

When the pad stays in place it works great. The problem is I have to keep my pillows at an angle and the pad kept sliding down and bunching up at the bottom of my pillow. Putting another cover on to help lee it in place defeated the cooling help. So for me didn't work correctly, but when it was in place worked great.For the way I have to sleep, I invested in a memory foam cooling pillow, works much better. Your sleeping on foam and not plastic pad.
