WINGO Mini Chromatic Pedal Tuner for Electric Guitar -True Bypass(Power Supply not Included)

It works great and is easy to read. I switch out guitars often when I am practicing. It also works for killing the signal to the amp so you don't get a popping sound when you swap guitars without switching off the amp.

Does it tune? Yes, quite well actually. Is it rugged? Sure I think so. Does it get ride of your tone and make your guitar sound bad? Absolutely. You will see the pictures that it is not true bypass as it goes trough resistors and other components when tuner is off. Generally you see more highend tuners do not suck your tone. For practice or home use it is great but I would not use this for a gig. I understand the price is low so it is a great deal for beginners. Save your money and go with boss if you want something good.

The WINGO pedal arrived on time as expected and is currently on my pedal board. It is an awesome little product for a decent price. Its only been on there a week but has seen about two gigs and tuned my guitar about as good as the last tuner I had (which I had for about 3 years if that tells you how good it was LOL). I am hoping for a similar lifespan with this pedal or longer and by looking at the specs and the way this pedal is built I do not see anything that will prevent it from lasting. Good work and keep it up WINGO, I will be looking into other products in the future.

Just what I needed. I put it at the beginning of my pedal train and use it to tune up and as a kill switch. Works great and is easy to read. My only complaint, and it's not a big one, is that is seems a bit slower to pick up the signal than my clip-on device but a second or two is not a big issue.

Quite simply, I am extremely disappointed with the Wingo Mini Chromatic Pedal Tuner. When I attempted tuning my bass guitar. Nothing, nada, zilch. It does not work for bass guitars. I just wasted my money, if you are a bass player, don't waste your money. I even bought two of them and neither one works. It is flat out misrepresented when it says it's for bass guitars!

This appears to be well made and works well. Not flawless operation when tuning. It can lag at times . Shows at times slightly flat or sharp but not enough to warrant a bad review or less than 4 stars. The packaging looked like it was a return or was opened for inspection even though it had a seal which seem like it was resealed because it had sticky residue where it looks like the original seal was. I can't be sure of that. The box was dusty in spots. Maybe nothing . All contents were in the box and unused. Plastic film still factory installed but when I removed it I noticed a pin head size mark inside the display so that had to happen when being assembled. Not serious and not noticeable when the tuner is on. I did contact Wingo about it but no reply as of yet. I have my doubts about the 3yr warranty being honoured if Wingo no longer sells on Amazon but for the price I'll take my chances. This is the identical tuner sold under different names for much more money and less warranty so I recommend buying from Wingo. I have a small pedal board so this fit perfectly on it. It has to be the smallest pedal tuner on the market but trust me the build quality is as good as the big boys. I'm impressed. Doing an a/b test with pedal tuner in and then taken out of the signal path I noticed no tone /volume loss. My ears could not tell the difference. I used a bypass loop pedal in the process. I know others have said otherwise but I have confirmed it is a true bypass pedal. This was vital to me because it would have been returned if it wasn't.

This tuner is easy to read and is nice and small so it fits on the pedal board. However, when I compare it to other tuners that I have, including the strobe tuner in my Line 6 HX Stomp, this tuner is noticeably flat. I checked all the settings and but the tuner is consistently flat. Maybe it’s the unit I received.Oh, and I did check to see if the tuner was referencing A440 Hz, and it was.
