I bought two of the off white color shade about two weeks ago. I was very pleased with it. In my opinion, It's a well made and good quility lamp shade. The soft white shade is a nice color and pleasant to my eyes. It actually reduces the brightness of the bulb slightly. I was a little hesitant to buy this because the outer part is not linen. I was concerned that the texture would not look nice or stay on well. It actually has a very high quality looking texture on it, which I like a lot. It does not look like cheep quality at all. I also scratched the texture with my fingernail to find out how well it's put on. After the fingernail scratch test, I can tell you that the texture is very well put on the shade. This style shade has a three way metal cross on top to hold the shade on with a screw on metal cap. If you like a soft white colored shade for a large table or floor lamp, then buy this. You won't be disappointed! I wasn't.

This is a nice, sturdy fabric lampshade in a lot lovely natural color. I love the shape. It changes the whole look of the lamp.

I inherited a set of my grandmothers lamps, and these fit perfectly! Very nice fresh white color - and dress up the lamp quite nicely!
