Auto Focus is very fast, super fine quality, but you doesnt follow in monitor, you need to follow in viewfinder, because too difficult to find correct brightness in monitor display, so you will find with view finder, battery discharges with in 45 minuites for video recording, so take two separate batterys, don't charge to camera with given sony adapter, please go to third party chargers, just like canon chargers!! image stabilization is too bad, camera doesn't have image stabilization, it is a big cons ,☹️.. only OSS lens can manage image stabilization, if any cons in this camera , i will update after use of this camera,😁

An excellent camera for beginners. This is my first camera, so, I was astounded by the quality of the images. The 16-50 kit lens is not that great. You may go with the 6100 variant, but this one has the better built and video profiles. Keep in mind that this model is from 2019. Except the in-body stabilisation, this one is one of the best under 80k. Get a good lens according to your priority, and you should be set for many years. I’ll keep adding more images.

Sample unedited images attached. Bought it after going through lot of reviews. Looking for a compact dslr quality camera with good features and mainly 4k video recording w/o any time limit. Was confuses b/w this and Fujifilm. Was really into the fuji retro look and there color effect but bought it due to offers in Amazon great India sale. Bought it just before our Diwali holiday and explored it throughout the trip and believe me no regrets. It has lot of customization related to the buttons and dials. Images come really good. If you can use the settings then many a times there is no need for editing as well. You can save them in raw as well with jpeg. On highest quality the size of on jpeg is around 14-15 mb. I bought it mainly to shoot my videos and the quality is just amazing. View finder is good and it has proximity sensor so screen turns of when you move near to view finder which is really good. There is a recording mode and a dedicated recording button which enables you to record any time. Sound is also clear and w/o any distortion or lag. Another plus is it's wireless connectivity. You can transfer the images and videos wirelessly over wifi through it's app that too in full quality and size. So if you want to share the images or videos instantly then it's a big plus. Then app can act as a remote also to click pics but you can't record videos with app. I hope they will bring that feature in future update. Build quality is superb it feels amazing in hand and is really compact(after using Nikon D5100). One major drawback is the screen tilt functionality. Not sure what sony was thinking while designing it. Even our Nikon D5100 which is like 9 years old as a side flip and rotatable screen which is way more convenient then this one. Second thing is I would really like if they have provided pause functionality while taking videos. Other thing is no seprate charger and small battery. Overall I am quite happy with the quality and performance.

Nice hybrid mirror less camera , takes both beautiful photos and videos. Suitable for semi professional photographers. it’s so easy and user friendly! Shooting in automatic is pretty simple and straight forward, but would like learn the different manual mode as well, If you’re a beginner or intermediate , I would strongly recommend this camera , you will really love it.

I purchased this product on 7th of July and it was delivered on the very same day. The packaging was really bad by Amazon standards. It was basically just wrapped in a thin see through sheet of plastic. The product as well as the price were all clearly visible through the packaging and since it was raining that day some water had gotten through the plastic covering and on the box of the camera. Maybe I am just spoiled over the years by amazons awesome packaging but still this was a let down for the first time. Apart from that I had an issue with the memory card bundled with the camera. It was corrupted and nothing I did could fix it. So I arranged for a replacement but was informed since this is an expensive product only return is possible. So I opted for a return but then decided to get it checked at the sony service centre. Long story short they fixed the carded immediately. Really happy with Sony's service. I hope I'll get the same response in the future as well. Coming to the product there's nothing much to say. Sony's the best at what they do (Apart from the mobile decision😅) . But I am happy with the purchase and awaiting the rains to stop so I can take this baby out and start clicking.

Best autofocus, better than canon or nikon. Good iso performance. My advice is - if you have a little more money just buy the camera body only - without the kit lens. You will save atleast 10k. And then buy Sigma's apsc lens - 18mm to 50mm, OR the Tamron 17-70mm lens. Both of these pair well with this camera and you will get some amazing shots. If you have budget constraints canon m50 is a good alternative.

Must buy if this fits in your budget. Can talk a lot about the SW features which are way ahead of the dslr features, but I will leave that to many reviews on youtube or reddit. A special mention for eye tracking feature. For a perfect shot in dslr it needs atleast 10 takes in some cases, but this one needs one take due to the algorithms available. At a first glance, the pros don't weigh enough for the price tag, but if you can push up your budget, boy you will not regret the purchase. If you have used a dslr and planning for a switch, go for it blindly, you can notice the difference clearly the moment you hold it and start shooting. Also sony lens are costly compared to the other options available in the market, so you might have to be prepared for that. If you are convinced for a mirrorless camera and can spend more, checkout alpha a7 as well which has full frame sensor.

This camera is best for doing video and photography. I use this with my sigma 30 mm lens and I works great. Its been 2 years since I bought this camera. Size is compact.
