Very effective. Keeps drains running better than any other product I have tried.

Bought to help keep a “slow” bathroom sink operating smoothly but I think what has happened is it loosened the detritus slowing the flow and temporarily blocked it more. It seems to be back to normal now and should help clear the pipe in time.

The drain strips were easy to use, but ultimately they didn’t work. I did not notice any improvement in smell which was the reason for the purchase.

Easy to use no mess value for money

When I noticed my shower wasn't draining away as quickly as it did before I decided it was time to put a drain cleaner down but having come across these I thought I'd give them a shot. They are really simple to use as you drop a stick into the drain and it gets to work. I filled the bath full about 5 hours later and let it empty and found that after that the drain seems to be clearing out much quicker. No bad smells, no mess and can be used more than once as you get 12 sticks so this is a really good way of clearing out the drains rather than having to pick up a bottle you need to pour down in full that costs at least £3 a bottle (add that up to 12 bottles and you are at £36).

I couldn’t say if it helped with my drains or not as I had plunged the drain before hand, but they smell ok and drop down the drain hole easily. So easy to use and the drains seem to be staying clear so far =)

Ok. I had a blocked outside kitchen drain - tried all the alternatives - blockage remained. I bought these to work as advertised - keep kitchen sink u-bend smelling nice and clear of fat etc. When I went to clear the blocked drain with an old mop, I found it was miraculously clear of blockages. In the drain was what looked like a radioactive catapillar which I figured was the "gobbler", and it was this gobbler that had cleared the blockage. I had expected the gobbler to stay in the kitchen sink trap but it had softened and been flushed through. So not impressed by the "scent" or staying power but I think it has blockage clearing superpowers.
