For example, while the book mentioned in the Self-Promotion section that it's not a good idea to post a dozen pins at a time, it doesn't discourage mass pinning under Etiquette -- I've followed pinners who flood my page with well more than a dozen similar pins within 30 minutes, and it's the fastest way to get me to defollow them. I was also surprised that the book didn't tell users to put the artist name in the description when pinning art, crafts and photography, since most people who see the pin won't click it.Overall, "My Pinterest" is a valuable guide for anyone who wants to get the most out of their Pinterest account.

This is what learning Pintrest through this book felt like for me.The layout of the book is clean, engaging and colorful, without being too obnoxious or clever. Every chapter has a corresponding section for all of your Pintrest learning needs. Do you want to connect with other hobbyist? There's a section for you. Do you want to learn how to link up your social media sites with Pintrest? You'll learn how to make this happen. Are you a marketer who wants to learn how to use Pintrest for your next big online marketing campaign? This book has got you covered. Do you simply want to learn how to set up a basic Pintrest board without feeling stupid or lost? This is the book for you.If you're looking for a Pintrest book filled with lots of slangy high-tech lingo, and graphics that makes you feel out of place, then this isn't your book. If you're looking for a book that is filled with words that makes you feel like the smartest person on the internet, then this isn't the book you're looking for either. But if you're a regular person who would love for someone to offer simple and easy guidance, this is your book. If you're looking for the book that allows for you to experience Pintrest as simply or as complex as you wish, then this is where you need to start.

I was enthralled by this book. It is one of the best "How To" books that I have seen in a long while. It describes in detail the steps to complete any function in Pinterest from signing up for the program, navigating through it, browsing and search for items and a bushel of other uses. They make it seem easy as each step has its own diagram so you can actually see the steps you need to take.This program is the newest social network but not for chatting--only for pictures. If you want to share pictures with your family you can create a family board of pictures to share. Businesses can also share pictures of their products and drive traffic and sales directly to their website.There is so much information in this 260 page book that there is no way I can even touch on 1 percent of it. I highly recommend anyone that is interested in social media give this program a try and diffidently buy this book to get started.
