Uvexby Honeywell Genesis Safety Glasses with Uvextreme Anti-Fog Coating

Theses are my go to safety glasses.The last couple pairs I bought the lens have fogged over for no reason. Leaving a slight glaze that needs wiped off. Great fit and great wrap around protection

As safety glasses go, these are better than ever, almost fitting my face. They are not too big, as most seem to be (I'm female, 5'6", most glasses I've tried of this type seem made for bigger/male, faces). There are great ratcheting adjustments at the stems to tip the glasses up toward the brow or down toward the chin/cheeks. Another, telescoping adjustment moves the frame farther or closer to the ears (varying the stem lengths).Parts I'd like to adjust that are fixed: 1. The bow (angle) of the top bar, 2. The bridge and 3. The nose pads. The angle of "wrap" in the bow of the top bar leaves gaps near my face. The nose bridge feels too wide. The nose pads have fixed angles that do not contact either side of my nose (until they "fall" out of place to improper resting points). If all three areas listed above adjusted, the bottom rims might hit/dig in at the cheeks. They sort of, almost fit, but have enough small deviations to be annoying. They are supported only by my ears when in the correct position. Because they miss any nose contact, they are close, but "hang" on/over my face. (Clearly, I need a larger nose on my face!)All this said, they will likely fit many people fine! Faces can be so different. It's a bit hit or miss, they will also fit some people worse.Making reasonably priced safety glasses that will fit nearly anyone is such a laudable goal. These are coming closer, but not quite there. These are OK for temporary use, but would distract me with longer wear. I like the idea of these so much! They have great production values*. I give them 4, since we cannot give 3.5 stars.*Great production values are: well manufactured, smooth, clear lenses, attractive materials, good colors, UV protection, anti-fog, reasonable price.

I first started using UVEX safety glasses in 1993 after getting a job as a topman on sewer and water mains. I needed OSHA approved glasses and these were suggested to me by my fellow workers. I loved them! I also replaced my teardrop aviators that I wore when riding my Harley, they worked so much better. The style went bye-bye around the turn of the century, so I switched to the Genesis II style and once again, they were awesome. I was buying them through Oxarc, but they quit carrying them, so I went searching and found them on Amazon. I am completely sold on these glasses, they're inexpensive, OSHA approved, and Harley riding approved; who could ask for anything more?

One of the ear pieces was missing. I went to return it and they said don't bother, we'll just send you another. And they did. No hassles. Was pleasantly surprised.My only complaint it that the lenses are much darker than expected. Too dark to use on the gun range.Update: I've bought two of these now and both were crap and broken. Quality is is VERY low. Do not waste your time.

Okay so all these statements about anti-fog and scratch resistant are complete horse spit, but I think anyone who uses safety glasses for work already knows that.Now, with that out of the way, these are the most comfortable safety glasses I’ve ever used, and they provide excellent coverage.Despite being so comfortable, they do not slide off easily, even when I’m sweating.I am very happy with these.

When I drink coffee, it has a brownish color to it ... even when I have it "black" so I assumed that "Expresso" would indicate that these glasses would have a brownish tint.When I look at the picture of the glasses, I see an amber tint and that is what I was looking for.Also, the description on the box says ExpressoHowever ... they do not have an amber tint or a brownish tint. They have a 70-80% GRAY tint so if you're looking for amber or brown, you might want to consider something else. These are more like the picture of the Uvex S3212X Genesis Safety Eyewear, Black Frame, Dark Gray UV Extreme Anti-Fog Lens and are a little too dark to wear inside for the computer or woodworking which is what I intended to use them for so that was a little disappointing.That said, they do have a lot going for them. They fit comfortably, they do wrap around so provide good protection and even though aren't as dark as my Wiley's, the gray is still cool on the eyes when outside. I don't know what kind of filtering they do (i.e. protection) but they seem to filter out a lot of the irritation when outside and are great for cycling or mountain biking.Even though they aren't what I wanted, for the quality and performance at this price point, I'll probably keep them; if I lose or break them, I won't feel as bad as breaking a $300 pair of glasses.

I have several pairs of these now, they are very comfortable and fit well on a big head!!Also, whilst they are not the cheapest, you can replace the lenses and thus make them last longer or just change the lenses type.

Are not 100% scratch resistant but good product

I like the way it sits on my face and they look good lots of eye protection!USA MADE ! COMFORTABLE AFFORDABLE. I WORK in an aluminum factory and they do theyre job plus more if you want a great pair of safety glasses i highly recommended these( they are almost 100% anti fog i have to wear a mask at work and as long as you have your mask over your nose and these sitting properly they dont fog and if they do it disappears very quick ! All in all a great purchase great line of sight as well.

I use this brand as it's the only ones that takes my prescription lenses. They hold up well and dont fog up. I work as a arborist so they get alot of wood dust on them and take a kicking... they hold up well. They last me 6 months to a year and dont easily scratch. They are comfortable and dont fall off your face and provide good coverage.
