Great replacement
This power adapter works perfectly with my Synology DiskStation. It plugged right in and powered the unit without any issues. The build quality feels solid and comparable to the original adapter. It’s been running reliably and stays cool during use. Great replacement option if you need a dependable power supply.

Replaced OEM that failed
Had power issues with my DS918+ over the summer. Replaced the OEM one with this one. Problem solved. Been running smoothly since. OEM one worked for about 6 years. Will update review if this fails sooner than the OEM one lasted.

Beware of the inaccurate power output…
I purchased this item because the item description said it is for DS920+, however, when I received this item I realize this adapter is a 12V, 7A output, which is 84W. But the original adapter for DS920+ required 12V, 8.33A 100W output. So this item won’t work. Please be careful when you purchase this item.

My DS920+ was shutting off. I replaced the power supply with this product and it works great now.

Perfect fit for a DiskStation listed
I moved and completely lost the original cord. This one fits perfectly, works from 100-240v and doesn't have any issues. It doesn't get warm when using either.

Don't buy for DS916
The listing says this is compatible with the DS916, however the output on this adapter is only 7A while the OEM adapter was 8.33A. My NAS powered on, but last night it hanged for the first time which I think may be related. Rather than taking chances on losing data, I'm going to buy an 8.33A power supply.

Replacement for Synology NAS power brick
Well, it works. I had just moved and my Synology switching supply died. I have a spare but it was in who knows what cardboard box so I just ordered this thing since I needed to get at my data ASAP. Been working fine the last few months.

Worked then didn't work
Replacement power supply for DS 918+ that worked for over 5 year. Initial worked great for several mos, but now issue with abnormal power failure Drive 1. Will replace with a different brand or OEM.
